Excellent full day trip to Zakopane and thermal spa. A long day in 30°c heat, but well worth it. We had the wonderful Joanna as our tour guide for the day, absolutely first class. Joanna provided us with an abundance of information and knowledge about the local areas that we visited, which included WhatsApp messages of useful places to visit and eat during our time in both Zakopane and also Krakow. First stop was Chocholow a small wooden village about 1.5 hours from Krakow (no toilets here) but we did have toilet stop between Krakow and Chocholow. Next stop was a Shepherds Hut to sample local cheeses and Polish Vodka (toilet here was a wooden hut in a field). Then onto Zakopane. Absolutely stunning place, we had 2.5 hours here to explore the town and mountain via cable car, plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and retail outlets ( I bet it lookseven better in winter) Then on to the Thermal Spa for a 3 hour stop. This was sooooo relaxing after a long hot day. It was super clean and the drinks were not too overpriced. All in all a good value day trip. Thank you Joanna for a great day.

Our guide Joanna was great - her passion for the Polish highlands shone through and she gave the trip real enthusiasm. I loved trying the sheep’s cheese and vodka at the shepherds hut and would recommend the adults only quiet pool with a bar at the thermal spa if travelling without children.
