On May 14, we joined a fantastic cycling tour in Kyoto with Makoto as our guide. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Makoto proved to be not only a knowledgeable and engaging guide but also someone who places great emphasis on safety. His explanations of both major landmarks and hidden gems were delivered with humor and insight, making the ride both entertaining and educational. After the guided portion, Makoto went the extra mile by recommending three additional sights we could explore independently, ensuring we could do so safely and with confidence. The e-bikes we rented through Kyoto Cycling Tour Project were in excellent condition, adding to the smoothness of the day. This tour is a true highlight of Kyoto and one we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and fun. — Sabine & Stefan

Around 3 hour tour with our guide Makoto Yanai, who is a very kind man, that provides great entertainment during the cycle and historical facts. Was willing to adapt the tour to our wishes and came with some great suggestions for stops during the trip. We took a detour along the Kamo river, very beautiful path to cycle along!

Kay and Tad took our family on a cycling tour around Kyoto during our family trip. They are awesome! They both did a great job keeping us safe and provided us with so much information about the history of Kyoto and the places we visited. We would not have been able to see Kyoto’s hidden gems without Kay and Tad. We highly recommend them!

We had a great time on this 3 hour tour. With our very good and kind guide Tomoko. You see a lot and get a lot of nice information. There's even time to take photo's and stop for refreshments (which was very welcome during our tour in August!). We really recommend this!
