We got on a bus near where we stayed and the bus driver seemed annoyed that our tickets weren’t printed. She did not give us any information about getting a map or headphones. We got on another bus but had to wait over 45 minutes at the primary hub. There were a lot of people who had shirts that indicated they wished for the company but they were all talking to each other and not available to approach to ask questions.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. If you're visiting Lisbon, avoid this service. They advertise four different routes that supposedly cover all the main attractions, but in reality they only provide two, leaving you unable to see many of the sights they promise. The audio guide barely works throughout the bus, making the tour even more disappointing. On top of that, the buses run extremely late—you can end up waiting 45 minutes to an hour beyond the scheduled time. I would never recommend this company to anyone. It was a very poor experience and a complete waste of time.

Outstanding tour of the beaches, cultural centers, museums and monuments of Lisbon, Cascais and the surrounding communities. The bus driver Alberto Fernandes was pleasant, patient, and extremely helpful with the different bus routes, timetables and places to visit and enjoy. Alberto truly enhanced the tour and we greatly appreciate all his guidance and insight. I would highly recommend the Grayline Hop On Hop Off bus group for touring and viewing the multiple different cities and sights in one or multiple days.

The bussdriver lady was a terrible driver, she was yelling and make a lots of noices so you could not hear the information guide in the ear. You could not jump of and on the bus when ever you wanted (we tried and the busdriver lady say no). She drive like the bus was stolen.

Booked the Gray Line on-site in Lisbon. The 48-hour tour includes the following tours: 🟥 Belém Line = Great, 🟦 Oriente Line = Boring and unnecessary. 🟪 Uptown Line = runs only once in the afternoon and passes by many places that have already been visited on another tour. And woe to those who leave the tour, there is no way to continue. Then no more bus comes. 🟩 Burglinе = great; 🟧 Cascais Line = unnecessary, much is identical to the Uptown Tour. If one wants to continue the next morning in Belem with the red tour, one stands there for a staggering 2!! hours at a waiting point, while the other tour buses have already made one stop. It was not due to traffic. Never again. As mentioned, the red and green tours are sufficient for 24 hours. Then the headphones do not work. Many buses are defective.

The description of the booking was not clear as to which bus company we were supposed to use. It was also not clear that we were limited to certain routes. A map of the routes would have been very helpful at time of booking. The “tour guide” was a recording and it was out of synch with the route — so half the time, it was describing things that you could not yet see.

I should have booked the other Hop On Hop Off company, City Sightseeing, this one had few busses, they took over 30 minutes to come around and they were full by then.

I am a travel advisor who brought 12 people on a tour which included the hop on bus experience. From the beginning it was a disaster and should be avoided at all costs. My purchase was for 12 guests which arrived on 1 receipt. Knowing that my guests would need individual tickets I walked almost 2 miles to be at the kiosk, guest service office upon opening. My request was to have the 12 person ticket broken into 12 individual tickets that could be used to get on the bus. The very unhelpful lady working could not assist and stated that the bus driver would be the only one who could do if. The guests were not getting on the bus at the same spot and needed their own ticket. I explained the situation to the guest support person and again she was unwilling to assist. I ended up having to purchase 12 individual tickets for each customer so they could access the bus on their own schedule and have their ticket on their phone. I paid an additional $400 to use the service. In addition, the wait for the bus was much longer than the other bus service. I would not recommend or use this company every again. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed.
