What To Expect
Fort Adams State Park
Guests will see Fort Adams from the water and learn all about its history. What is now a state park was initially intended to protect the growing port town of Newport from foreign attack.

5.00This excursion was fantastic. Well worth the money. The crew were fun, friendly and informative. If we had more time in Newport, we would have booked an additional tour with Gansett. Next time we will definitely book again and try the sunset cruise.

5.00Meeting the boat at the end of Bowen’s Whatf was easy. Dave , our guide on the boat, was personable, knowledgeable and funny. The hour and 15 minute ride was the perfect amount of time.

5.0010/10 experience! Perfect way to see Newport from the water and hear about its history. We sat on the top deck and it was so fun but definitely windy so dress accordingly!
