Take a guided day trip from Paris to explore Normandy’s historic D-Day sites.
Start at Utah Beach, where American troops first landed, and learn about the strategic planning behind Operation Overlord. Walk along the battle-scarred coastline and hear stories of the soldiers who helped shape history.
Enjoy a pre-arranged Norman-style lunch in a charming port town before heading to Pointe du Hoc. Here, U.S. Army Rangers bravely scaled towering cliffs to capture a key German stronghold. The site remains much as it was, with bomb craters and bunkers overlooking the English Channel.
Next, visit Omaha Beach, where you'll have time to walk along the shore and reflect on one of the war’s fiercest battles.
The day ends at the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, where nearly 10,000 soldiers are laid to rest. Stroll through the peaceful grounds and take in the powerful tribute to their sacrifice.
This immersive tour offers a moving and unforgettable look at the events of D-Day.

Musee du Debarquement Utah Beach
You’ll join your expert guide in Paris aboard a comfortable, private coach. On the way to Normandy, learn the details of the Allied preparations for D-Day, the largest amphibious assault in history. Your guide, a fluent English-speaker, will stay with you throughout the tour to tell the story of the operation and answer questions from history buffs and curious minds. On Utah Beach, your first stop, the Allies quickly defeated the German forces. You’ll visit an extraordinary D-Day museum housed in an old German bunker on the landing beach itself. The collection here brings home both the scale and the personal sacrifice involved in the operation, with an original B-26 airplane on display along with collections of soldiers’ letters home.
Utah Beach
Utah Beach was the westernmost landing site on D-Day and played a crucial role in the success of the Allied invasion. Unlike Omaha Beach, the landings here were met with lighter resistance, allowing troops to move inland more quickly and secure vital strategic positions. Standing on Utah Beach today, with its vast stretch of sand and open coastline, gives a powerful sense of the scale of the operation and the courage of the soldiers who fought there. The site remains a deeply significant place to reflect on the challenges of D-Day and the determination that led to the liberation of Europe.

Excellent experience giving a brief overview of the D-Day invasion. Maja was an excellent storyteller providing background to the lead up to the war and the planning of the invasion. While the stops were relatively short, everything was well planned and well executed. Would recommend this trip and Maja to everybody.

This was a full day tour that was very good for history buffs. Daniel gave us lots of great information about WWII and Paris in general. He’s a 5 star tour guide!

I go on many tours with my family, and Daniel is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever met. He kept every age group entertained and engaged in multiple one-on-one conversations with people, talking to them about history, fun facts, and his own personal recommendations for things to do in Paris. Although it was a long bus ride both ways to Normandy, Daniel kept us entertained the entire time with fun stories, movie recommendations, and many other topics, all while managing a group of almost 40 people ranging in age from 8 to 80. He gave a heavy atmosphere filled with melancholy and appreciation for the sacrifices made at Normandy. He also personally helped two people visit a loved one’s grave to participate in a ceremony. He was very polite, funny, and friendly despite dealing with so many people for almost 14 hours. Daniel made this tour 10x more interesting, and the price was worth it simply to have him as a guide and to hear him share his stories and knowledge about Normandy. Daniel is one of the best, if not the best, guides I’ve ever met, and he should be commended for that. Thank you for the amazing tour, Daniel!
