4.00I’d actually rate this trip a 4.5. It was very nice except the traffic on some of the roads was a little unnerving. Pretty views with just a handful of stops. One or two more stops would’ve been nice with some explanations of what we were seeing. Pretty flat terrain

5.00Our day in Olden was very nice and this tour was a quick and easy way to see the city and surrounding countryside. Other options were walking around or taking a very crowed hop on-hop off bus. Our guide was great, provided us with good information about the area, we had many chances to take in the beautiful scenery. We did not feel rushed during this tour and the bikes were excellent!

5.00Having not so much as sat on a bike for over 20 years and never on an e-bike at all, I was a tad nervous about this trip. We were given good instruction beforehand and provided with helmets and hi-vis vests. Setting off was a bit wobbly for me but it’s true - you never forget! Our guide Nico went at a pace to suit everyone with frequent stops for photos, telling us all about the history, geography and geology of the area. I have used this company before and wouldn’t hesitate to return if I should find myself in Olden again.

5.00Went on rhe e-bike ride from Olden port with Olden Active. Our guide was amazing, a proper Norwegian mountain guy, who explained the glacial valley with stunning detail. Ride was a great pace, and would be suitable for families as well.

5.00We had the BEST day in Olden as part of our Cunard Queen Anne Cruise yesterday. My husband and I were lucky enough to book the guided e-bike tour when we jumped off the ship and joined our two friends that had booked in advance before our holiday. The welcome from the team members was warm, friendly and patient as we decided what activities to do. We settled on the cycling tour and the kayaking. Very luckily we ended up just the four of us for the cycling and local young man Nico was our guide. Nico was brilliant! So engaging, impeccable English and so informative about everything to do with the area. We finished our bike ride, nipped over to the Skylift, which was also excellent and had views to die for, then headed back for the kayaking session. Just my husband and I for this, in a tandem kayake. This time Nico showed the patience of a saint as we got our sea legs and learned to paddle in unison out onto the fjord. We loved seeing our ship from the water and again, Nico led a safe, fun and engaging activity. Thank you Nico, you are a credit to the Olden Activities team!
