Five Stars for Matteo and Concierge Dolomites If you’re visiting the Dolomites and want to experience the region beyond the typical tourist highlights, there is simply no better way than spending a day with Matteo and the team at Concierge Dolomites. Our private day was one of the absolute highlights of our entire Italy journey. From the moment we met Matteo, it felt less like a tour and more like exploring the mountains with a knowledgeable local friend who is genuinely passionate about sharing his home. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, yet the day felt effortless and relaxed. We enjoyed an incredible lunch at the most beautiful farm PretzHof, where the views were as unforgettable as the food. Throughout the day, Matteo introduced us to hidden corners of the Dolomites we never would have discovered on our own, from scenic viewpoints and charming villages to quiet spots far from the crowds. One of the most memorable moments was ascending high into the mountains toward the Austrian border, where we were standing among snow and ice despite it being summer below. The contrast between the lush valleys and the dramatic alpine landscape at the summit was breathtaking. It was the kind of experience that leaves you speechless and reminds you just how extraordinary this region truly is. He also took us to a quaint village where only locals would even know to visit. Local speck and pretzels for all! Amazing and a life-changing memory. What impressed us most was Matteo’s depth of knowledge. He effortlessly shared the history, culture, traditions, and geography of South Tyrol while tailoring the entire day to our interests. Nothing felt rushed. Every stop felt intentional and meaningful. For luxury travelers, this is exactly the kind of experience that elevates a destination from beautiful to unforgettable. The Dolomites are spectacular on their own, but having someone like Matteo unlock the hidden stories, secret viewpoints, and authentic local experiences makes all the difference. If you’re considering a private day in the Dolomites, stop searching and book with Concierge Dolomites. It was worth every moment and created memories we will talk about for years to come. Thank you, Matteo, for an extraordinary day and for showing us the Dolomites through the eyes of a local. We left with a deeper appreciation for this remarkable corner of Italy and cannot wait to return. ❤️🏔️

We visited the Dolomites in April, low season. Even though there were roads that were closed due to a bike race, Matteo, our guide and driver, took us to scenic detours - many places for photos, to just take nature all in - no rushed itinerary. Exquisite time! Since it was springtime, allergies were on an all time high but Matteo shared his all-natural remedy tincture that I now, I subscribe to that worked wonders immediately. Matteo is quite the smooth driver as we never got dizzy, even once, despite the zig zag roads. He made us feel at ease and felt safe traveling with him for several hours. Already looking forward to booking more tours with him. Made our first trip to the Dolomites truly memorable

The driver/ guide Matteo is full of information about the area and have us a very good history about the sites. He is polite and drives carefully given the narrow and downhill/ uphill roads in the area. He is very familiar with the route. We throughly enjoyed the day and had a view of the Dolomites also due to the favourable weather.

It was wonderful - beautiful scenery - Marco was our guide. He didn’t speak much English but tried very hard and we were able to understand. He was very polite and considerate. He took us to the most beautiful spots and gave us time for taking pictures.

Our guide Matteo took us on a magical journey through the majestic Dolomites. We were lucky to have such an educated and knowledgeable guide. He chose the perfect stops for our young children to enjoy, while the adults were able to take in the stunning views. Matteo intimately knows the Alps and shared his experiences and knowledge of local history, economics, culture, geography, geology, and cuisine. We learned so much in one day. Thank you for sharing your love and respect for the mighty Dolomites, Matteo. We will never forget this experience you gave to my family. Until we meet again…

I HIGHLY recommend the services of Concierge Dolomites. Our day in the Dolomites with our driver Matteo was one we will never forget, simply amazing!! We trusted him with his recommended itinerary, which took us to scenic stops less visited and away from the crowd of tourists. His passion for and knowledge of the mountains is evident at every turn. You will be left speechless and breathless. We look forward to returning and spending more time with Matteo.
