What To Expect
Sanibel Island Lighthouse
On our way to Sanibel Island, we’ll cruise past well-known dolphin watching spots, including the waters near Picnic Island. These areas are home to playful dolphins, and sightings in their natural habitat are frequent., often surfacing and swimming nearby, creating unforgettable moments along the journey. Once we arrive at Sanibel, you’ll have the chance to step ashore near the iconic Sanibel Island Lighthouse. It is a beloved landmark with sweeping views of the Gulf waters stretching out into the Gulf. Guests can take a leisurely walk along the sandy shoreline, hunt for shells on beaches famous for their treasures, or capture photos of the lighthouse framed by palm trees and sea oats. Families may enjoy wading in the shallow waters, while couples can find a quiet spot to sit and take in the scenery. With plenty of unhurried time here, you’re free to relax, explore, and soak up the unique atmosphere of this historic island before we set out on our return journey.

5.00What an incredible experience! We had such a wonderful time on this boat tour with our family. The crew was friendly, professional, and made the trip even more enjoyable. We were treated to beautiful views of the Gulf Coast, watched dolphins 🐬 swimming right alongside us, and ended the evening with a spectacular sunset. Everything was absolutely stunning. We can’t wait to come back and do it again with family and friends. A big thank you to the crew for making us feel safe, comfortable, and welcome throughout the entire trip! 👍👍

5.00Fantastic experience. We had a great day, including a swim in the clear waters of North Captiva. Aldo knows the coast perfectly and how to attract dolphins, which joyfully jump around the boat. Dámaris, with her sweetness and kindness, makes the journey extremely pleasant. They are true professionals who ensure you enjoy the day to the fullest in the beautiful waters of Western Florida.

5.00Where to start? I reached out to Aldo and Damaris a couple of months before our trip to Florida, to enquire about a special boat trip, to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday in style. I knew as soon as we started chatting by email that we had found our people! We agreed on a flexible itinerary, that could tweak on the day depending on what we fancied- but we all agreed that our top priorities were seeing dolphins in their natural environment, and a trip to an unspoiled , quiet Floridian beach (we don’t do crowds!) On the day, the moment we met Aldo and Damaris and saw their beautiful boat, we knew this was going to be special. They are the most warm, welcoming and kind people. We were immediately at ease and felt so safe with Captain Aldo’s exquisite knowledge. His sense of humour was pretty epic too 😂 Within 45 mins of our sail, we were accompanied by the most incredible pod of dolphins who danced and played alongside the boat for quite some time! It was incredible! We enjoyed a truly stunning, peaceful spot for the beach stop and again Aldo and Damaris had thought of everything for our comfort- beach set up, floats, snorkels, cold drinks and some pretty delicious pink fizz too! 🍾🩷 After a stop for some Key Lime pie (recommended) it was back onto the water where Aldo gave both of our teens the opportunity to drive the boat! His guidance and teaching was just outstanding and they were both truly thrilled! Damaris provided beautiful snacks for us, before we stopped for an incredible jump in the sea, ahead of sunset. The music was brilliant and even included our wedding song, by chance! All you need is love, by The Beatles. It could not have been more perfect. That was until we sailed back in and were joined again by a huge pod of dolphins! 😍 Truly, incredible that they came to bid us farewell. What Aldo and Damaris do is truly special. We honestly feel like we have made true friends, and no boat trip will ever compare. We cannot wait to spend time with our new coastal friends on our next trip to Florida. We enjoyed hearing about their lives, their family and equally they enjoyed hearing about ours! Thankyou to both of you- until next time 🐬🩵🧡🐬 Kate, Andrew, Zack and Ella

5.00Finding a boat tour that keeps both parents and kids happy is a gamble, but this private beach trip was a total win. Usually, these things can feel a bit "touristy" or rushed, but having a private boat meant we could actually set the pace. The real highlight was our host. They were incredibly personable and were able to keep the kids engaged without being over-the-top. Instead of just pointing at landmarks, they were pointing out sea life, telling stories, and making the kids feel like they were part of the crew. We spent the afternoon hopping between quiet, secluded beaches that we never would have found on our own. Having a home base on the sand where the kids could run wild while we actually relaxed for a second was exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for a day on the water that’s low-stress and high-fun this is it.

5.00This was one of the most memorable days ever! I expected a pleasant day but was rewarded with wonderful experiences seeing dolphins, a hammerhead shark (very rare), an osprey nest with nestlings, plenty of birds, shells and snorkeling. The captain and his first mate (his lovely wife) gave us a day to always remember, anticipating all our wants and needs. I can’t recommend this trip enough!

5.00I was expecting a pleasant day, but was totally blown away by this couple’s determination to give us the very best day ever. We saw osprey nests, dolphins, a hammerhead shark (a very rare site), snorkeled and hunted for shells. It really was one of the best vacation days of my life.
