What To Expect
Holdy Militaria
A round trip not like the others Let yourself be led close to a German artillery position located 6 km from Utah Beach in the hamlet of Holdy in Sainte Marie du Mont, a historic center for American paratroopers. On the village square and greeted by French civilians, your guide picks you up in a 1944 Jeep Willys. At the end of the day and after that timeless moment, your driver accompanies you.
Holdy Militaria
ATYPICAL VISIT ... You are transported through different places (parachuting zones, airplane spits and gliders, bunker, etc.) to make you relive the events. You are told the story through testimonies of soldiers and civilians, vintage photos and archives. Along the way, you visit the battery of the German aerial artillery Holdy composed of 4 guns that the Americans managed to take.

5.00Our Photography tour group ( David Wong: California USA) went with Magali Desquesne on her DDay4you tour. I found Magali to be very knowledge and engaging. She was very organized and saw to it that the group was able to maximize the time we had at the sites. She displayed her own interest and regard for the events of history.
