Scenic Helicopter Tours
On the Wears Valley Tour you will see views of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. We will continue to the Base of Cove Mountain and Wears Valley touching the National Park boundary. Be sure to bring your camera!!

Beautiful First Helicopter Ride Over the Smokies

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Scenic Helicopter Tours in the Smoky Mountains! We originally had the Wears Valley tour scheduled, but while we were in the office, we decided to switch to the Lake to Mountains tour. We were so glad we did as it was beautiful and gave us a little longer air time. Nick was our pilot, and even though he was fairly new to Pigeon Forge, he was very knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel safe the entire time. This was my first time ever riding in a helicopter, and it ended up being such a smooth, exciting, and memorable experience. I especially enjoyed seeing the lake, the town, and the mountains from above. It gave us such a beautiful perspective of the Smokies, and I felt comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

5.00Flying with Scenic Helicopter Tours was our very first time in a helicopter and an absolutely thrilling experience and a memorable highlight of our trip to the Smoky Mountains. We originally booked the Ridge Runner tour, but after talking it over and wanting to see more of the area, we decided to upgrade to the longer Wears Valley tour. It turned out to be a great decision, as the extended flight gave us a much better perspective of the beautiful Smokies and surrounding areas. The morning of our scheduled flight, it was raining. We really appreciated that the staff gave us the option to reschedule to a later time the same day. This flexibility allowed us to enjoy the tour under much clearer skies, which meant better visibility and more spectacular views. Our pilot, Nick, was fantastic. Not only was he experienced and professional, but he also made the flight informative and fun. He pointed out key landmarks, shared interesting facts about the area, and was happy to answer our questions during the flight. Before takeoff, Taylor helped us capture the moment with great photos. Our experience with Scenic Helicopter Tours exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Smokies!

5.00There was 4 of us that went for a birthday gift. The pilot was great and pointed out scenery throughout the tour. It’s worth the trip. I’m afraid of heights so I wasn’t going to go. They talked me into it and so glad they did. It was worth it.

5.00We had a great experience. Our pilot, Adam, was knowledgeable and friendly. I feel that any tour you do would be worthwhile. This is good for a first time helicopter flight or even if you’re an experienced flyer. There are also many great options for trips at reasonable prices.

5.00I took my 7 yrs old Granddaughter on a Helicopter Ride. We has a great time with our Pilot. Flew over Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It's an experience we will never forget.

5.00This was our first ever helicopter tour, with kids 15 & 8. Jesse was our pilot and was awesome! Our 15 year old son is actually taking flying lessons himself and Jesse was very informative for him, teaching him what he could on our short flight. I was worried about myself & our 8 year old possibly feeling queasy, but it was not bad, I'll go up again for a longer flight! The views are great and it's so hard to imagine how high you are and that your moving at around 120 miles per hour! We will be back for a longer flight next time. And I can't give enough kudos to Jesse, he answered all questions and threw in plenty of good info for our pilot in training!
