Park and National Palace of Pena
The National Palace of Pena stands out as the renowned jewel in the crown of the Sintra Hills. The surrounding park, in close harmony with the magical character of the palace, triggers emotions of mystery and discovery. In its nooks and corners, our gaze gets lost amongst its charms. The coloured tones of the palace, the pinnacle of Romanticism in Portugal and the eternal legacy of Ferdinand II, the King-Artist, opens the doors to the imagination of all those who cross its threshold, with the infinite shades of green painting the surrounding park establishing an idyllic scenario, frequently hidden under the veil of the mists that characterise the Sintra Hills. As if having stepped out of a fairy tale, this has been the place of dreams for all the generation who have passed here and gazed upon its magnificence.

Wonderful Day with Naz. Started with short drive to Sintra in clean comfortable SUV despite heavy traffic. Pena Palace trip was interesting. Regaleria wll was definitely unique. Naz pointed out all unique aspects and got us in andnout in time. Went to windy Copa da Roca next and then drove through Cascais. Boca de Inferno was spectacular. Ended trip in central Lisboa. Naz was very engaged, informative and helpful- all in all a terrific experience!

It was exactly the type of tour we were looking for. The guide was timely and took us to Sintra right from our hotel and dropped us back there. While there we saw two castles and the coast. We are not keen on trips where a guide sets the pace and prefer being able to explore at our own pace, which this was and made the entire experience. The trip was beautiful and really worth the money if you are looking to travel in a small group.

Stop looking for your Sintra tour guide. After searching online for hours, Naz’s tour really stood out. It’s a private tour, he picked us up at our hotel, purchased our palace tickets, and included all the highlights. Naz was very informative and friendly. He literally walked us up to the gates of the palaces, through Downtown Sintra, and shared tips to make our experience memorable. His recommended restaurant in Downtown Sintra was delicious and we enjoyed people watching against the beautiful Sintra tiles.

A private day trip to Sintra, Quinta Regaleira, Roca and Cascais. Narratives Indomavel (Naz) was punctual, great guide, knew his history, provided good directions, good driver and great Peugeot, took us to a great restaurant in old Sintra, spoke excellent English, and always found us after each tour after finding parking spots. Naz had our tickets repurchased and ensured we bypassed most lines at entrances. Thanks Naz.

Fabulous tour! Naz was just an amazing tour guide. Picked us up at our Airbnb, very comfortable car, and arranged all the tickets. We saw Pena Palace, Regaleira, Sintra center with a great lunch place. Then he brought us to the coast, with breathtaking views of the ocean. Then to Cabo de Roca and Cascais. He was knowledgeable, patient and fun! He even made a detour to show my kids a beach they were interested in. And to top it off he came back to our place after dropping us off because he found our portable charger left behind in the car. All communications were easy, and everything ran like clockwork. It was really a beautiful day which we will remember fondly. Can’t say enough about how great this was.

We had an excellent and easy time seeing the sights of Sintra and the surrounding area. Our guide, Naz, was excellent. Knowledgeable and friendly driver. The sites were beautiful and while we covered a lot of ground in a single day- it was well worth it.

Naz was an excellent host and driver for an absolutely wonderful day. He managed the time very well and brought us to an excellent restaurant. The well at Quinta de regalia was amazing but an unexpected treat were the waves in Cascais. Just beware Peña palace is extremely crowded but worth seeing

Sintra was amazing. The castle has such intricate woodwork and stone work. The amazing people of Portugal are in the process of preserving / restoring it. The traffic in town is terrible, and they will have to find solutions so the people who live there don’t have to deal with it. Our tour guide was kind. I was hoping for more information about history, which I had to look up after the tour. He was otherwise attentive to our needs.

This is absolutely the best way to get to the highlights in Sintra! We tried to drive there and couldn't get close to anything or figure out tickets online. So I got on line and found this tour. Naz picked us up, took us to the best places, had the entry tickets ready to go and made the day completely hassle free! I had read other reviews where the tours didn't include tickets to the Pene Palace and when folks got there, the tickets were sold out! This is the only way to go! Could not recommend this tour and Naz more! He is delightful and made sure we had the best day
