The town of Sintra is the scene of almost all periods of Portuguese history and the scene of a large group of romantic architecture, being framed by a forest with more than 2,000 specimens of plants, which gives the Cultural Landscape of Sintra the classification of World Heritage of UNESCO.
Our experience begins with a walk that goes from the Village of Sintra to the path that leads to the Palaces and Castle of Monte da Lua, through the forest, with stops at the main viewpoints of the Village of Sintra. You have four hours free to enjoy a visit inside the Park and Palace of Pena and Palace of Quinta da Regaleira, or replace them with two others that interest you most, with the same duration of up to two hours each
We offer the most fun and charming way to get to know the town of Sintra and its main Palaces, with guides knowledgeable about local stories.

What To Expect
Sintra National Palace
Panoramic view of the National Palace of Sintra and part of the historic center of Vila de Sintra. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the history of the construction of the National Palace of Sintra, its mixed architectural styles as well as historical moments lived in the Palace and its reflections around the world. It is possible to include an internal visit to the Palace and/or gardens. To do this, simply ask us to reserve tickets 24 hours in advance, with an additional payment corresponding to that found on the palaces' official website.
Castelo dos Mouros
Panoramic view of the Castelo dos Mouros and part of the historic center of Vila de Sintra. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the challenges of building the Castle, as well as historical moments throughout its more than a thousand years of existence. It is possible to include an internal visit to the Castelo dos Mouros. To do this, simply ask us to reserve tickets 24 hours in advance, for an additional payment corresponding to that found on the official website of the Palaces and Castles of Sintra.

1.00The experience is Not as advertised be where before purchasing. We were expecting to start the experience as advertised with a walking tour around the castles and through the forest but instead were picked up 10 minutes late in an old tok tok. Although our guide Frederico was friendly and knowledgeable, we were driven around by the castles and wasn’t offered time to go into one to go in to explore as advertised. Basically, we drove around and saw the sites and that was it. Additionally, our tok tok broke down during the trip and we had to wait for a back- up to come. Overall, very disappointing, not worth the money, and not at all advertised. Again, the guides were knowledgeable about Sintra so that was the silver lining but I would suggest reading the tour details before booking

5.00Sergio gave us a very informative tour and was very helpful in narrowing down the locations we wanted to take a closer look at. We fit so much into just a few hours and he knew all the best stops for pictures. He was communicative before, during, and after our tour and provided us with wonderful hospitality.

5.00We knew what we wanted to do when we got to Sintra, just go up to the castle and palace, take some photos and come down again, simple. On arriving we were ambushed by tuk tuks but they didn't offer what we wanted. Whilst walking we were approached by Danilo who listened to us and said he would take us up in his 'vintage' car!!! It turned out to be a roughly 30 year old red Fiat cabriolet which was ideal on the day. We booked him for an hour but what followed was a magical tour of Sintra and the views up to the palace. Danilo spoke very good English and gave us a very knowledgeable account of the area taking in some unbelievable views that you wouldn't normally get to see on a bus or tuk tuk. We arrived back in Sintra a lot later than 1 hour really pleased with our tour. Without any doubt I would recommend Danilo. You will have a fabulous time with some great memories.

5.00Really enjoyed the tour. Danilo was very accommodating to ensure we saw everything we wanted to see during our day. He was very knowledgeable about Sintra and the specific tour sites. His guidance saved us time at each tour spot with his guidance. Make sure to ask Danilo about the tickets needed for each site. Some of them are timed entry so you will need to coordinate carefully. Also be prepared with sunscreen and a jacket. It was considerably cooler in Sintra mountains but at the same time we got a lot of sun in the convertible car used for the tour.

5.00Danilo was a fantastic guide. He introduced himself when we first booked the tour and checked in as our trip got closer. He booked our palace tickets for us in advance at no extra charge and was willing to pick us up in Lisbon. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took lots of great photos of our family so we will always remember the wonderful day.
