This was a nice food tour with the chance to try some of Singapore's delights that were once served on the streets as street food. So to be able to try authentic food from the region was a plus. Our guides Richard Ong and Nicole were very attentive and the conversation was smooth.

I had a wonderful food tour led by Gabriel. We spent three hours exploring the city and trying different local cuisine. While we walked Gabriel provided expert advice on the history of the food and the groups that contributed to the recipe. There was plenty of food and the walk was helpful in between to keep our appetite up. Gabriel was very courteous and funny! I definitely recommend a tour with him and Monster.

This Clark Quay centered food tour was a great way to sample Singapore’s food scene in one trip. From sit-down restaurants to late night takeaways to relaxed riverside dining to the cacophony of the hawker centre. Showcasing Singapore’s melting-pot cuisine all the while. The portion sizes were, however, smaller than expected. The meeting point was a conveniently short walk away from the Clarke Quay MRT station, with a nearby shopping mall offering a convenient air-conditioned waiting spot. Simon and Jerome took great care of us, making sure we all had sets and plenty of food, drink, and history to consume.

Our first time in Singapore, and what a great way to begin. Our guide Richard Ong and lovely assistant Ruth, gave us a wonderful evening filled with history, culture and more importantly, delicious food. An easy walk with 5 stops along the way. Enjoyed a Singapore Sling at Rainbow on Boat Quay. Better than Raffles and less tha half the price. Went back to Rainbow another night for dinner. Highly recommend doing a food tour in a new place. It sets you up for the rest of your stay. Many thanks to Richard and Ruth for sharing their Singapore with us.

Simon and Rachael worked great as a pair to take us on a tour of the food history of Singapore. From the broth and rice of the Chinese to the Satay and lime drinks at the end. The chilli crab was a challenge - those that savour in spicy food enjoyed. Thankfully the weather behaved itself with a gentle breeze and no precipitation. Thanks for the history lesson in Singapore along the way Simon. A very enjoyable evening with full stomachs at the end.
