What To Expect
Forza d'Agro
Forza d'Agro is a small medieval "borgo", located on top of a hill at about 420 meters above the Ionian Sea. The town is famous as the filming location of The Godfather movies.
Savoca
Savoca is an unspoilt medieval town that near Taormina that acted as stand-in for Corleone where Michael was hiding out during the "going to the mattresses" time. Here you will visit Bar Vitelli and take pictures with an authentic Sicilian shotgun "Lupara", see pictures from the movie and a mirror monument for Coppola, enjoy panoramic view of the Mediterranean opening from the square where the wedding ceremony scene was shot. Then you will walk to an ancient church of Santa Lucia, where Michael and Apollonia were married kneeling in the doorway. Walking along the fabulous streets of Savoca, on a good day you can also meet some actors - for example a lady who played Apollonia's mother. In Savoca you will have a chance to taste the authentic Italian pizza served with local wine traditional tomato bruschetta and lemon sorbet in a traditional restaurant with an amazing terrace view.

5.00This was such a fun experience! Our driver Bruno was amazing and made the trip so much fun. He was full of fun facts and super friendly. We loved hearing all his stories. He absolutely added to the day! We even insisted that he have lunch with us because we were enjoying spending time with him. Definitely ask for Bruno for your tour!

5.00Marco was awesome! Private tour was the way to go. He was very informative and made sure to get us to multiple locations and scenery for great pictures. We even saw a double rainbow come back down from one of mountain top towns we visited. Everything was personalized. Great conversation. Marco checked in with us a week before the trip just to make sure we had some information and clear communication as he knew we were be driving down from Palermo early in the morning. He waited on us and made sure to find us a safe place to park and off we went. Awesome tour. Very informative, very cool. If you like The Godfather or have just seen it and enjoy some back history this tour is the way to go.

5.00Our family just did this tour on Tuesday with Bruno. We all had the absolute best time. Bruno made the tour so fun and memorable for all of us. We got so much out of this tour because of him. He was so engaging and really knew so much about the Godfather and Sicily!! Thank you for everything.

5.00This is the IDEAL tour for any GODFATHER fan! Bruno was our guide and his extensive knowledge of the films’ locations and his warm engaging personality with our family and locals alike made for a special day! We enjoyed a drink at bar vitello, and walked the same streets made popular in The Godfather film. The tour goes well beyond the just highlighting the films memorable moments - it’s a great way to see the city and immerse yourself into the local culture. He took great pictures and videos of us and he is the ideal Sicilian host for your visit!

5.00This tour is amazing! A must do! Bruno was engaging, fun, and an absolute delight. He really takes you behind the scenes on the godfather tour and educates you about the splendor of Sicily. We also sampled chocolate and enjoyed pizza at a wonderful restaurant overlooking everything. He took great pictures of us and fun, informational videos, It was a truly amazing day and we will be back to Sicily for a longer trip because of him!
