Fantastic experience! The first half of the tour was truffle hunting with our guide, Elio, his wife and his dogs in a forested truffle reserve. It was impressive to see the dogs mark and find truffle before Elio (and the dogs) dug them up! Then we drove back by car in the beautiful countryside to MonVino and wine tasting with delicious local cheese and sausage. Melina at MonVino was amazing, and gave lovely service and guided us through a variety of wonderful wines! Highly recommended.

This was a truly unique experience. The first half was a truffle search experience with Elio and his dogs in a wooded truffle reserve. It was very fun watching the dogs locate truffles and Elio digging them up. The wine tasting with Melina at MonVino was fantastic. She gave us a great education on the area with samples of multiple varieties of wine along with local cheeses. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience. From the route from Torino to Monforte D’Alba, the reception of the Marina, the interaction with the truffle hunter his adorable wife and the 4 border collies, beautiful and expert. The experience had the feeling that we were at home . We found several white truffles and had the option of negotiating the purchase at fair prices. Then we went back to MONVINO and tasted 3 options of Barolo and Barbaresco. The Marina explained to us how are distributed regions, wineries and was an additional show. At the end even indicated us a place for lunch in the city of Barolo , Barolo Friends ! I'm saying 1000%! Ateh for children!

The drive to the small town is worth it to do these two separate activities. The truffle hunting is in the forest- you need a car to drive there. It is also not included in the price so you need 30-40 Euros pp cash to pay at the end and more if you want to buy the truffle you find. It was really interesting. Then you drive back to the wine shop for wine tasting. We took the light lunch option which was definitely worth it as we were starving by then and it was not huge but delicious and definitely enough food. Had a great 3.5 hours , even in the drizzle!

A very mediocre display! A truffle seeker who points out where the truffle is and a light lunch that was dramatic. I would advise anyone not to book this "experience". Far too expensive for what's on offer. We really felt cheated, and we weren't the only ones who felt that way. Disgraceful!

The truffle hunt with the dogs was very interesting. So is the wine tasting. Cheese and salami was served representatively on a wooden board. A highly recommended experience.
