We got to experience a variety and the guide, Maggie, did a great job of explaining where all the food came from and told us about all the shops.

Granville Market is lovely but where do you start, what do you eat and they're not just going to sell you a small taster at each stor. Foodie Tours allow you to explore the market, taste a range of food and drinks, as well as learn a bit about the venders and history of the market. Maggie has created something special, as the only official food tour at the market. She is a warm, friendly and knowledgeable lady, who has a passion for food, the market and sharing all of this. We tried bread, cheeses, meats, iced tea and coffee, maple salmon, donuts, pickles (not my taste) and more. It was a super 90mins and we decided to go off, so we could come back and have our dinner at the market too. Final bonus, as if another is needed, your tour name sticker got you a discount at any of the stalls you visited. Thank you Maggie for a special experience.

Food was amazing. Our guide, Michael, was a great source of information. We enjoyed this tour thoroughly and feel like we got a great sampling of the items at the market.

What a wonderful tour!! I didn't really know what to expect, but was delighted with a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Mack was really great - (not sure if you can request a specific guide, but if you can, I'd highly recommend him). He was fun, personable, super easy to be with, and knowledgeable -not only about what great foods we were tasting but also about some historical background about Vancouver & the area. This tour is perfect for visitors who want an interesting and fun, very local experience of Vancouver & Granville Island. My one caution-- I thought it would be a light "sample' food tasting, but for me, it was more than a substantial lunch experience. Great in every way! I highly recommend it!

Great tour, great guide, good food. Nice the way we got our samples then moved to a quiet spot to hear background and sample them.

Excellent food tour and. Aggie, our guide. Plenty of food - at least 10 sections. Not a lot of walking and several occasions to sit. Highly recommend.
