What To Expect
Torcello
Torcello is a small island in the Venetian Lagoon, located north of Venice. It was one of the earliest settlements in the lagoon. Today, Torcello is a peaceful and sparsely populated island. Its most important landmarks include the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, renowned for its magnificent Byzantine mosaics, and the Church of Santa Fosca. (Entrance to the churches is not included.)
Burano
Burano is a picturesque island in the Venetian Lagoon, famous for its brightly colored houses lining the canals. The island has traditionally been associated with fishing and lace-making, an ancient artisanal craft that has made Burano renowned throughout the world.
