What To Expect
Mikumi National Park
Begin your journey in Zanzibar, flying with domestic flight to Mikumi National Park, known for its Mkata flood plains, reminiscent of the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Kikoboga Airstrip, you'll be greeted by our driver-guide, who will outline the day's activities. Commence a game drive through the Mkata flood plains, a hotspot for wildlife viewing, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as hyenas, leopards, and lions. The area is also a habitat for the Sable Antelope, Great Kudu, and Eland, the world's largest antelope. Enjoy a midday hot lunch before further exploring the park. The afternoon features a visit to the renowned Hippo Pool, a gathering place for various wildlife. The day ends with a drive back to the airstrip for your domestic flight return flight to Zanzibar, carrying memories of the day's adventures.

5.00We are currently on our honeymoon in Zanzibar, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was the safari to Mikumi National Park. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. We were guided by our new friends Adam and Johanna, who made the safari truly unforgettable. They were incredibly kind, professional, and passionate about what they do. They went out of their way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible and were always attentive to our needs and comfort. Adam and Johanna shared their knowledge with great enthusiasm and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy Mikumi National Park in the best possible way. We are extremely satisfied with the safari experience and cannot recommend Adam and Johanna highly enough. If you are considering a safari in Tanzania, you are in excellent hands with them!

5.00The one-day safari to Mikumi National Park was simply a beautiful experience. In a few hours we had the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the wilderness, admiring spectacular landscapes and closely observing many animals in their natural habitat. To make this experience truly unique were above all our guides, Omar and Arestides: professional, prepared and always available.
