What To Expect
Charyn National Park
Charyn Canyon is one of the most impressive natural attractions in Kazakhstan. You will admire its grandiose cliffs, gorges and bright red formations created by nature millions of years ago. In addition to the Valley of Castles, you will enjoy such locations as: the Charyn River, the Black and Moon Canyon.
Kolsai Lake
This is a lake of amazing beauty, surrounded by mountains and pine forests. If you wish, you can take a boat or catamaran ride around the lake. There is also a cafe where you can have lunch. The menu includes pilaf, lagman, manti, shish kebab, and salads.

5.00Amazing tour to Kolsai Lakes and Charyn Canyon! Everything was well organized, from the comfortable transportation to the perfectly planned itinerary. A special thanks to our guide, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he shared fascinating stories about the history, culture, and landmarks of the region, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Panda Travel to anyone visiting Almaty. Looking forward to joining another tour with them in the future!

5.00Very comprehensive tour of canyon and lakes, a full day. Be prepared for long drives between Almaty and the attractions, plus some fairly strenuous walks, especially if the weather is hot. Tour guide was very friendly and gave commentary at each attraction, plus some adhoc singalongs (not compulsory!) Highlights were the Charyn Canyon and Kaindy Lake. One thing to note; our driver was quite aggressive in driving style (this might be a general Kazakh thing), so do buckle up.
I recommend it.

5.00It was a seemingly hard tour from early morning to night, but I was not that tired because I could sleep on the bus. Although it was a full day, it was very good to see the highlights efficiently. I was worried about my physical strength because I was not used to walking, but I had no problem because I had free time at each of the attractions and the guide would show me "a gutsy walking course" and "an easy course". It was a very fun day, getting to know everyone on the tour!

4.00They had forgotten to include me on their list, resulting in a long wait. Great experience. It's a shame that the restaurant, which is not included, is imposed when there are options available.
