I'm always looking for new adventures and this camel trek in the Merzouga Desert was one of the best adventures of my life. At first I was afraid that it would be difficult to go so far on camels, but our guide was so friendly that all fears were overcome. The sound of the camel's feet on the sand and the gust of wind created a strange atmosphere. As we climbed the Dunes, I was mesmerized by the scenery around. A sea of gold! I ran over the sand and made it a few times, which was incredibly fun. Arriving at the camp, we organized a bonfire, where local residents sang songs and played drums. It was the most exciting night of my life. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the tajines and meat kebabs. The next morning we again set out on a camel ride to see the sunrise, which was the ultimate reward of this journey.

Traveled as a couple on a desert and valleys tour with Morocco Tourism and it was pure magic. Our guide Youssef was one of the kindest and most professional people we met in Morocco. He was extremely punctual and took great care of us, especially during the long scenic drives through the Atlas Mountains. The desert camp was luxurious and romantic — we watched the sunrise from the dunes after a camel ride. Youssef arranged a special private dinner one evening which was a lovely surprise. All accommodations were spotlessly clean with wonderful staff. He also accommodated our preference for lighter meals and suggested great local spots without ever pushing us. The whole experience felt authentic, safe, and well-planned. If you want quality and heart in your tour, book with these guys.

The sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi is truly incredible. Our journey began in the afternoon, when we were entering deep into the desert on the back of a camel. It was a wonderful sight for me to see the color of the sky gradually changing from blue to orange, then dark purple. Every grain of sand seemed to radiate light. The reception at the camp was very warm. The tent at Luxury Camp was more comfortable than I had imagined. Inside, there are huge beds, private bathrooms and everything is so clean that I found it amazing to have such an opportunity in the middle of the desert. I've never seen so many stars in the night sky. Dinner was served with traditional Moroccan food, which was incomparable in taste.

We were two couples travelling together and decided to ride on camel backs to reach the desert camp. It was an excellent decision. We spent a lovely evening sitting around the fire with the Barber organizers, talking, laughing and dancing. The tents were comfortable and well-furnished, with electricity and even hot water, which was a pleasant surprise in the desert. Overall, we were extremely happy with everything.

Our trip started from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, Merzouga Desert, Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Ouarzazate and finally to Marrakech. The whole trip was beautifully arranged, and new places were discovered every day. We especially loved the blue city of Chefchaouen and the camel ride of the Merzouga Desert. It was very informative and fun to walk with the guide in Fes and Marrakech. All in all, it was a comfortable, beautiful and memorable tour.

The culture of Morocco has always fascinated me, and this camel ride was a way to delve deeper into that culture. Our guide was a man from the local Berber community, who told us many stories about the history of the desert and their way of life. I have learnt from him how they have survived in this difficult environment for generations. The design and decor of the camp was very artistic. The fabrics, carpets and pillows used in the tents were hand-woven in traditional designs. I sat there looking at the designs and was fascinated. Their drums and voices pierced the silence of the desert and touched our hearts.

I am usually used to staying in five-star hotels and did not know if such a luxurious environment was possible in the middle of the desert. But Merzouga Luxury Camp has shown me that modern facilities are possible even in the middle of nature. There was no air conditioning inside the tent, but there was so good ventilation that we felt no problem with the heat. The bedding was high quality and there was hot water in the bathroom, which I appreciate very much. During the camel walk, they brought us water and snacks, which was a sign of courtesy. From the dinner table to the dinner table, everything was perfect. From the tent I was in, the view outside was amazing. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, from fresh fruit to hot pancakes.

My wife and I had planned this trip for our anniversary and it was like a dream for us. We are both older, so our main concern was comfort and safety. But this organization in Merzouga has given us all kinds of benefits. They took special care of us during the camel race so we did not encounter any problems. We spent a lot of time together in a remote environment in the middle of the desert. The bed was very comfortable and the couch was very comfortable. While we sat outside the tent and drank tea, the silence of nature filled our hearts. During dinner, the camp staff lit special lights for us and created a romantic atmosphere. The food and service was five-star. The experience of this one night strengthened our relationship, and we will always remember the calm atmosphere of this desert as one of the best moments of our lives.
