  This tour is everything that we hoped it would be! Our tourguide Ryan was fantastic and as small group of 5 + Ryan we had a blast. Great flexibility in the tour keeping the eye on weather to move around on activites was perfect. Highly reccomend.

  I went on the Feb 17 to Feb 26 2025 adrenaline Junkie tour and each day I got experience something new. Zip lining, river rafting, rock climbing, glacier hiking, rock climbing, sky diving, bungy jumping and so much more... This tour has it all. Our tour guide Ryan and tour planner Ross are very experienced and they make sure you get your money's worth. They make sure they track the weather and make sure we got to exoerience all the activities. We were a group of 6 and food and accommodation were really good. I am a vegetarian and every town in south island we visited had good options and the included breakfast and lunch in the tour were always delicious and filling. We stayed in 4 star accommodations with really great views. Our tour guide Ryan is quintessential Kiwi and got us around safely with lots of interesting stories and trivia. Please ask him what does one Kiwi statue say to another kiwi statue :) I am taking home lots of good memories and new friendships.   The Adventure Junkies Adrenaline Tour has to be as good as it gets - combining touring the beautiful South Island with all the best of adventure activities available. The tour is fantastic value for money and exceeded my expectations in all respects. The itinerary is structured really well to ensure you are never long between activities - whether short hikes, secret spots, lake swimming, or adrenaline activities. Each day was packed with activities but never felt rushed. Our guide Ryan was the special ingredient that made the tour really special. Ryan was able to manage timing and changes to activities based on people’s wishes without trouble. His deep understanding of the Sth Island landscape/animals/plants, knowledge of all the best spots, worldly stories, humour, and - beyond all - kindness and helpfulness made spending time with him and the group pure pleasure. As others have said, the breakfast and lunch options were brilliant, and Ryan always had a stock of fruit and snacks in the van. Awesome value and a brilliant experience. Thanks Russ and Ryan! Tim.

  This 10 day adrenaline tour with Adventure Junkies was everything I hoped it would be, and is a really good price for what’s included. Our guide Ryan is a NZ local who has a wealth of experience touring and guiding, and is also just an awesome guy. The greatest thing about this tour is the flexibility, which really allows for a personalised experience. For example, we were able to move our skydiving, rock climbing and Bungy jump around on the fly to coincide with better weather. This also allowed us a bonus free day to do an activity of our choosing, which Ryan was very helpful in coordinating so everyone got to do what they wanted. The included meals were also great, we got taken to loads of local cafes and restaurants and were allowed to pick whatever we wanted from the menu, & if we wanted to go back the next day or go somewhere in particular, Ryan was able to facilitate this, even as far as the group being split up on our free day so we all got our included meals. I should also mention that all of the activity providers that Adventure Junkies work with to make this tour possible are the best of the best, we never had any problems at all.

  Our 10-day South Island Adrenaline Tour with Adventure Junkies was everything we hoped for, and so much more. From my pre-tour communications with Russ (the company owner), to the well-planned and perfectly-executed itinerary, to the included meals at all the best breakfast and lunch spots, to the best tour guide ever Ryan, to the amazing adventures and adrenaline activities - this trip totally exceeded my high expectations. Both Russ and Ryan do everything they can to ensure that all participants have the time of their lives. And we did!   THE BEST TOUR EVER Word cannot describe how amazing it was to be on the Adrenaline Junkies tour in New Zealand. From the booking progress, the follow ups leading up to the trip, to the daily check in’s from Russ. He truly is amazing at what he does and his effort and care to booking activities that you want to do while you’re over in NZ is next to perfect. The tour is extreeeeemmly well priced and grantees a great bang for your buck! The tour itself is jam packed full of laughs, adrenaline gripping activities and beautiful food. It is 100% a tour you can do by yourself, with a partner or your family. We had the pleasure of having Ryan as our tour guide. WOW, was he full of knowledge and kindness(with the occasional dad joke). He truly did make this trip to NZ run so smoothly and showed us places that no other tour would even think about travelling. His recommendations from food, travel, activities and of course card games really made the trip a once in a life time experience. If you love adventure and thrill, then the adventure junkies, Adrenaline junkies tour is the perfect tour for you! The memories that you make with the people in the tour are ones to never forget.   My experience with Adventure Junkies was phenomenal - I cannot recommend Russ and his team highly enough! My sister and I did the 10 Day NZ Adrenalin Tour from Christchurch to Queenstown in October 2023 and everything about the trip was amazing from the small group (4 people), to the witty banter and amazing sights. If you are a thrill seeker, the Adrenalin Tour is for you -the itinerary was packed with awesome activities (including zip lining, bungy jumping and sky diving) but was balanced with a few free afternoons to explore along the way. There were a few minor changes to our itinerary due to the weather and maintenance works, however this was navigated seamlessly and the alternative activities were just as awesome (I particularly enjoyed the white water rafting substitute of river kayaking). We were fortunate to have Russ as our guide who is both an awesome guide and lovely human. He was very relaxed and friendly and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time by providing advice and recommendations including on the best places to grab dinner (breakfast and lunch are included!) and sharing his inside knowledge on the best local attractions and photo opportunities! He is also very knowledgeable about New Zealand and enhanced our experience by providing a range of commentary on the various cultural, historical and geological/geographic features of our travels.   The adrenaline tour was the best thing I’ve ever done! Our tour guide Russ is an absolute legend and has put together a trip everyone has to do at least once. Everything from the activities, accommodation, awesome little food spots and quality chat was 11 out of 10! Even his playlist was awesome while we were cruising through the amazing South Island. I can’t recommend the trip enough and would do it again in a heart beat! Thanks for everything Russ (Reuben)

  For our first time in NZ we placed our trust in adventure junkies and booked the adrenaline tour. To say we had the trip of a lifetime is an understatement. Greeted by an amazing tour guide Russ, who treated us like his best mates! All details of our trip planned and booked and all we had to do was enjoy the ride. From the banger playlists for the drive, to Russ telling stories or facts about where we were, the constant banter, amazing activities from sky diving, oxbow adventure co and bungee jumping - this trip was truely something else. Russ showed us many hidden gems and knew all the good spots for food, drinks and a few games of pool. I couldn’t recommend an adventure junkies trip nor Russ more highly.
