The experience with Lulu Safari was excellent from the first consultation. Communication was always smooth and fast, both by email and WhatsApp, resolving all our doubts and accompanying us during the trip planning. Arriving in Uganda, everything flowed even better. We were welcomed by Derrik and Viktor, who from the very beginning made us feel in the hands of real professionals. We had some inconvenience with certain accommodations, but they were fixed immediately. Derrik and Viktor always acted with speed, kindness and practicality, looking for the best alternative to guarantee our comfort and tranquility. At Bwindi’s lodgings, on my birthday, they were in charge of warning the lodge to surprise me with the decorated room and, over dinner, they sang “happy birthday”. It was a beautiful and very significant gesture. But what really made this trip unique was the human and professional quality of Derrik and Viktor. Both were punctual, friendly, attentive and extremely considerate. During long journeys we were constantly asked if we needed breaks to rest, they always adapted to our rhythm and provided us with a close, respectful and very pleasant accompaniment. Viktor also speaks Spanish, which greatly facilitated communication and allowed us to understand perfectly all the explanations and knowledge that Derrik shared. We strongly recommend asking Derrik and Viktor as guides when booking with Lulu Safari. They made our trip unforgettable and we felt accompanied by two exceptional people, both professionally and humanly. Uganda is a wonderful country worth visiting, and doing it with guides like them makes all the difference

A trip of a life time. An experience never to forget. Thank you so much Lulu Safaris and a special thanks to Allan Smith my guide, driver but most of all my friend ☺️ Before booking with Lulu I searched many other safari companies. Over all the reviews, price, wide variety of accommodations to choose from and communication was the best by far with Lulu. Elvis, the owner was very well spoken, patient and an absolute gentleman to chat with. He answered all of my questions thoroughly(and I had a lot) and kept in contact with Allan and myself while on safari. One thing that really stands out is the efforts they made to make sure all lodges had electricity as I use a CPAP machine while sleeping. Tyvm Lulu * Traveling solo is exciting and the only way to go. It's a time to have all to yourself and Allan made sure all of my needs and wants were met. He was such a keen gentleman and humble yet confident. I felt safe the whole 10 days. Going on safari in September was a perfect time. Small crowds, less wait times and sooo peaceful. The weather was perfect and the one on one for some of the excursions was special. One of my biggest worries was the intensity of the chimpanzee and gorilla trek. I'm a not so slim 57 yo female and not the most confident. I didn't know what to expect but Allan was there to cheer me on at the start and at the end. The accomplishments were a feeling I could not imagine and Allan helped to remind me of how strong I really was. I can honestly say that this was the best safari ever and I owe it all to Lulu Safaris. Thank you guys. You're a wonderful team🙏🏼🤗❤️ Cheryl L xo

We gave 5 stars because Lulu Safaris delivered the tour as quoted from airport pickup, experienced guide, reliable vehicle, good accommodation. We packed a lot in the 10 days from rhinos at Ziwa, game drives at Murchison Falls, chimpanzees at Kibale, gorillas at Bwindi and leopards stalking zebras at Lake Mburo. Brian ensured we saw as much as possible- far more than the big five. The tour was also far more than a safari as it was a road trip around Uganda allowing us to see the country, visit communities and interact with many Ugandans . Thank you Brian and Lulu Safaris for a wonderful experience.

My son and I recently returned from a 10-day trip to Uganda and it was amazing! It was a trip of a lifetime! Everything went as planned from the time we were picked up at the airport in Entebbe to when we were dropped off to return home. I researched several tour companies and so glad I decided on Lulu Safaris. Elvis, the owner, was friendly and accomodating during the entire booking process. He answered all my questions and responded to my messages quickly. He even sent me their operating license and certificates with the Uganda Tourism Board when I requested them. Our guide was Derrick and he was fantasic! He was very friendly and made us feel safe from start to finish. He drove my son and I over 3,000 miles in Uganda and seemed to know everybody. Derrick's driving skills were second to none. He always answered our questions and knew the best spots for observing wldlife. While driving to our next destination, Derrick would even stop and get us fresh pinapple or "chicken on a stick". Derrick was not only a great guide, but we consider him a friend. He even messaged us after we left to make sure we got home safely and to share some photos. In summary, this was a "bucket list" trip for me and it was better than I ever imagined. The gorilla trek was definitely the highlight but everything else was terrific also. We saw so many animals and the people of Uganda are very friendly. The accomodations were wonderful and the food was excellent. I highly recommend Lulu Safaris and ask for Derrick to be your guide. You won't be disappointed!

An absolute experience of a lifetime. A missed flight from Doha meant we arrived on Entebbe half a day later than planned. This was no problem for Lulu safaris who arranged to pick us up at the airport. We were met at the airport by our brilliant guide Samuel. Samuel was quick to reassure us that he had rearranged a few timings over the first 2 days to ensure we didn’t miss out on anything during our trip. Over the next 8 days we saw things that we could only ever have imagined before. A real up close and personal adventure with Ugandas wildlife. Whether it be watching herds of elephants pass by us, up close with Rhinos, boating past bathing hippos and crocodiles or watching a group of chimpanzees in the forest the trip brought excitement at every turn, brought to us by our guide Samuel who seemed really proud to bring Uganda to us. There were so many close sightings of these animals that great memories were created by just using our phones for pictures. Along the way we stayed at a number of lodges who were always welcoming and made sure we were always over fed. The highlight of the trip tho was definitely trekking the rainforest and spending an hour in the presence of a Gorilla troop. To be so close to these amazing animals and watching their babies play just feet from us was truly the most amazing experience. The only negative from our whole experience was the lack of communication from Lulu safaris in the weeks leading up to our holiday which caused a little apprehension before we left home, a little more attention to detail in this area would have been welcomed. Overall tho we couldn’t recommend Lulu Safaris high enough. They delivered a truly wonderful experience travelling through Uganda. And last of all a massive shout out to our amazing guide Samuel who brought this all together as an amazing private tour. Dinner won’t be same not sharing our table with him. Thank you. Webale Samuel

Great experience! We saw a lot of animals thanks to trekking and numerous safaris, also held at different times (night game drive not to be missed) and thanks to the availability of our guide Samuel. Expert and very passionate, he allowed us to really spot many species and also to appreciate particular and beautiful birds. It made us fully appreciate all the beauty enclosed in this Pearl of Africa! The experience with the gorillas was really impressive, we didn't think we would be so close to them and watching them for about an hour was wonderful. The organization was excellent in all respects, even with any changes to the program according to the needs of the moment. We stayed in excellent facilities, with a lot of attention to health and safety and in all we found warm hospitality and excellent cuisine. We definitely recommend Lulu safaris for this tour, very complete and with experiences of various kinds that allow you to live a truly magnificent and unforgettable journey!

If you are planning to visit Uganda, Lulu Safaris is the best option. We made the trip with a group of 8 friends (55-60 years old) Elvis and his team designed a tailor-made tour for us through the best of Uganda (Murchinson Falls NP, Kibale NP, Queen Elisabeth NP, Bwindy NP and Lake Bunyonyi). The highlights of the tour were: -Big Five and boat tour to Murchinson Falls, the sunset was magical. -Monitoring the friendly chimpanzees in Kibale. -Animal sightings in Queen Elisabeth and the Equator line. -The highlight of the trip was tracking gorillas in the impenetrable forest of Bwindy, probably the best money spent in my life. -I would not like to forget to mention the wonderful views of Lake Bunyonyi. We made the trip in two comfortable TTs in very good condition and the quality of the hotels chosen, much better than we expected. Finally, I would just like to highlight and thank the work of Dennis and Victor, the Spanish-speaking guides, and Brian and Frank, who with their work and friendliness made the trip easier for us.

Our trip to Uganda with Lulu Safaris was simply amazing. From the first moment, everything flowed perfectly. We were picked up promptly at the airport and we travelled the country by car in complete safety, enjoying spectacular scenery. Although there were minor changes to the programme, they were resolved quickly and effectively, demonstrating the professionalism of his team. The hotels were another strength: all very clean, with a careful atmosphere and excellent food. We opted for superior accommodations that exceeded our expectations in comfort and style. However, best of all was the human team that accompanied us. We had two drivers and two guides who spoke fluent Spanish and made us feel at home. I want to make special mention of Brian, a young driver with admirable experience, and Victor, a lovely guide, always attentive and willing to help. Both of them, with their constant smile and professionalism, made this trip unforgettable. Thank you, Lulu Safaris, for this experience! 💚 Uganda, a country that will be forever in my heart.
