Dhakeshwari Temple

Dhakeshwari National Temple is a Hindu temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh's 'National Temple'. The name "Dhakeshwari" means "Goddess of Dhaka".

Lalbag Fort

Lalbagh Fort is an incomplete 17th century Mughal fort complex that stands before the Buriganga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The construction was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah who was son of Emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself.

Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque

The Khan Mohammad Mirza Mosque on Lalbagh road is situated less than half a kilometre west of the Lalbagh Fort. Two Persian inscriptions, one over the central archway and the other over the central Mihrab, speak of its construction during 1704–05 AD by one Khan Muhammad Mirza.

Ahsan Manzil

Ahsan Manzil was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. The building is situated at Kumartoli along the banks of the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture.

Sadarghat

The Port of Dhaka is a major river port on the Buriganga River in Dhaka, the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. The port is located in the southern part of the city. It is Bangladesh's busiest port in terms of passenger traffic. The port has services to most of the districts of Bangladesh. In 2013, a container terminal opened 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city to handle ocean-going ships. Along with Barisal, Chandpur and Narayanganj.

Airport railway station or Biman Bandar railway station is a railway station in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Situated opposite to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, it can be accessed from the Airport Road.

Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery

The Chittagong Commonwealth War Cemetery or Chittagong War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Chatteshwari Kali Temple

Chatteshwari Temple is a Hindu temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali located in the centre of Chittagong city in Bangladesh. It was built in the 18th Century. The goddess of the temple is considered the guardian deity of the town Chittagong, according to Hindu belief.

Burmese Market is a highly attractive place in Cox’s Bazar. A group of tribe people from Burma mainly settled their business here. Various kinds of goods are available here in this market. Mainly goods are from Myanmar (Burmese) as well as from China and Thailand. You can try some local beauty products, handwoven textiles, and bedsheets among many other things. Mainly the foreigner tourist adores this place. The Burmese Market, such as its designation advises, provides to the slightly good-sized Burmese people living in the zone adjacent to Cox’s Bazar. The habitation is run by natives, generally, or Burmese who have been existing all over the place for generations and have fit in totally into the native system of life. This is as well a decent place to pick up specific local magnificence goods, such as sandal logs soap powder, and shampoo, as well as home objects, such as couch slips and bath towels that are hand knitted by the ladies who run the booths at the bazaar.

Teknaf is an Upazila of Cox's Bazar District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It forms the southernmost point in mainland Bangladesh. The name of the region comes from the Naf River which forms the Eastern boundary of the upazila. It shares the border with Burma.

The Naf River is an international river marking the border of southeastern Bangladesh and western Myanmar. It takes 2 and half hours cruise journey bypassing the Naf River and Bay of Bengal to reach Saint Martin Island.

St. Martin's Island is a small island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula, and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. There is a small adjoining island that is separated at high tide, called Chera Dwip. It is the one and only small but unique Coral sea beach in Bangladesh.

Morning take breakfast and checkout from hotel. Transfer to Cox's Bazar airport and fly towards Dhaka by domestic air. Reach dhaka and transfer to hotel. Take lunch and start shopping trip by private transport. Overnight shall be in Dhaka.

New Market

New Market is a commercial shopping market in north of Azimpur, Dhaka City.

Year after year Mawa ferry Ghat Bangladesh, this is the remains the connector of South Bengal to the other part of the country via Padma river. Furthermore this place is famous for Hilsha fish.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the ‘Father of the Nation’ of Bangladesh. Often referred as ‘Mujib’ or ‘Sheikh Mujib’, he was prime architect of the independent nation, Bangladesh. He played a prominent role in countering exploitation and other unjust actions of the power holders of West Pakistan towards people of East Pakistan. As a zealous orator, he gained popularity for advocating socialism and detesting institutional and ethnic inequality posed by Pakistan. He chalked out an autonomy plan encompassing six points during the factional tensions in 1966. His political views often landed him up in jail which never deterred him from vehemently challenging military dictatorship of Ayub Khan, the then Field Marshal of Pakistan. Although the ‘Awami League’ won the first democratic election of Pakistan under his leadership, the party was not invited for forming the government. Following mass protests against such discrimination and launch of civil disobedience movement by Mujib, ‘Operation Searchlight’ was conducted by the Pakistan Army and Mujib was arrested and moved from East Pakistan to West Pakistan. The ‘Bangladesh Liberation War’ followed and Pakistan had to surrender to the Bangladesh-India Allied Forces. Mujib was freed and became the first Prime Minister of independent Bangladesh. Mujib and most of his family members were assassinated in a military coup initiated by treacherous army men. Sheikh Hasina, the eldest daughter of Mujib is the present Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Morning 07.30 am drive to *Sagardari* (50 km) to visit the birth place of Michel Madhusudon Dutta. Take lunch at Jessore. Later transfer to Kushtia (130 km). Overnight at Kushtia

Fakir Lalon Shah's Mazaar

Lalon also known as Fakir Lalon Shah, Lalon Shah, Lalon Fakir or Mahatma Lalon was a prominent Bengali philosopher, Baul saint, mystic, songwriter, social reformer and thinker from the Indian subcontinent. Morning take breakfast and start sightseeing including Shiladaha, *Shrine of Lalon and Cruise on Padma river*. Overnight at Jessore.

Shilaidaha Kuthibari-Rabindranath Tagore's Residence

Shilaidaha is a place in Kumarkhali Upazila of Kushtia District in Bangladesh. The place is famous for Kuthi Bari; a country house made by Dwarkanath Tagore. Rabindranath Tagore lived a part of life here and created some of his memorable poems while living here.

After visiting Lalon Shrine and Rabindra Kuthibari we will drive to Jashore and overnight stay at Jashore.

In the early morning take breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Jessore domestic airport. Transfer to Dhaka airport for return to next destination by return flight.
