This special tour does not follow any set route. Nor does it follow a time table.

Use your time wisely by going into the wilderness to see wildlife and view glaciers. Summer only: an option, on a 80 ft. cruise ship. (available 11am departure only and May 15 - Sep 15)

We follow the sun, the wind and our hearts to navigate your vacation towards the most scenic locations capable for the day of your tour.

The Wilderness Wildlife Glacier Experience includes entrance into the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. During summer you'll have an option to include a glacier cruise on the mv Ptarmigan.

Learn about our rich history and see the Ring of Glaciers. This award winning tour can not be replicated by any other service or shuttle.

The Wilderness Wildlife Glacier Experience offers highly trained Guides who's sole purpose is making your vacation memories last a lifetime.

Ring of Glaciers. A wonder of glaciers that surround a lake filled with pure glacial run off. As we return to Anchorage, live entertainment is offered.

Wilderness Wildlife Glacier: WEEKDAY & WEEKEND: Sightseeing tour outside the city limits of Anchorage. hour day tour into the wilderness, see wildlife, view glaciers and walk on Alaskan Alpine Meadows.

Summer Only Glacier Cruise: Experience Portage Glacier up close on the MSS Ptarmigan. A one hour excursion on the 80-foot ship.
Duration: 6 hours: Departs at 11am. Dena'ina Convention Center. 700 W 7th Ave. We meet 10 minutes before departure.

I’m glad I joined this tour. Our guide Hunter was really good! He was fun, knowledgeable and nice. He taught us how to take good selfies and waterfalls, which was helpful! We were able to see the beautiful mountains and animals up close. Walking in the rain was memorable, too. The tour begin not too early and ends not too late so that we were able to have dinner when we returned. I would recommend this tour when you have a day in Anchorage.

Mr. Hunter was the best guide, very knowledgeable, easy to talk to & understand ~and so funny! I must admit I was a little nervous about going on a tour, but this was well worth it! I learned a lot and felt so welcomed. I could tell Hunter is proud of Alaska, and he loves his job. I wouldn't hesitate to go on another expedition with Hunter!

We had high hopes for seeing ALL the things, but with rain and snow, the glaciers weren't visible, too late in the year for Beluga whales at Beluga point. But the Wildlife Conservation Center did not disappoint! Even in the rain, we saw two beautiful brown bears. And our guide, Patrick, was SO knowledgeable and entertaining. What could have been tedious and disappointing was educational and fun.
Definitely worth it!

An amazing time spent with family while in Anchorage. We loved our travel guide Patrick. While admiring nature and the animals around Anchorage we learned so much. This was a wonderful tour and I would highly recommend it. Communication with the tour company has been outstanding and everything is very professionally run. Our tour guide Patrick was engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and seemed to truly care about our experience. If you have a day to get out of Anchorage this is definitely a great way to spend your time.
