Our safari with Lulu adventures was amazing. Over the 11 days we became friends with our guide Derrick. He was friendly and just as excited to show off Uganda as we were to see everything. He was happy to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. Everything from booking the safari to being dropped off at the end went smoothly. I'd highly recommend Lulu Safaris to anyone.

Our trip to Uganda was an amazing, unforgettable adventure, one of the best of our lives. The experience of seeing gorillas, chimpanzees very close , a variety of primates and other wildlife, to exploring the country’s breathtaking landscapes of lush forests, rolling hills and lakes. Our guide, Alani, was exceptional, combining deep knowledge with kindness care, making every moment both educational and enjoyable. The accommodations were very comfortable, beautifully located, the staff made us feel like valued guests while the food was fresh, flavorful, and a wonderful mix of local and international dishes. What touched me most, however, was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the Ugandan people, whose warmth added so much heart to the journey. Every aspect of this trip exceeded my expectations, and we can recommend Uganda as a truly magical destination.

Our tour included all the major parks in Uganda as well as gorilla and chimpanzee trekking. One park more beautiful than the other. The lodges were chosen with love and were outstanding. The tour was planned by Elvis down to the smallest detail, who was always available via WhatsApp or email. We had the best guide in Uganda , who gave us unforgettable moments and was always concerned about our well-being. Our guide Allen maneuvered us calmly and safely through the streets of Uganda , was always friendly and always responded to our wishes. So we had a wonderful holiday in Uganda with Lulu Safaris, which I would book again at any time.

This experience was amazing! I saw everything I had hoped for and more. I photographed 141 species of birds new to me and another 100 or so that I had seen before. I was able to see the Shoe Bill and also the Chimpanzees and Gorillas. The falls at Murchinson were amazing. All the accommodation was of a high standard and I enjoyed the food. My guide, Robert, was a wonderful driver and very patient as we stopped to see numerous birds along the way. He was also good company at various dinners and breakfasts and in the long car journeys. Overall I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Our eleven-day safari was one of the best experiences of our lives. Mr Elvis Masiga of Lulu Safari was very easy to contact and made all the requested modifications to the original offer. The genuine kindness of Ugandan people, the wildlife, the great lodges we stayed at ... these all make up a dream holiday, but the decisive factor was our guide, Audence. We went at the end of the rainy season and had quite a few adventures (couldn't get back to our hotel due to a road completely washed away by rain, fallen tree blocking the road, mudroads impossible to cross), and somehow Audence arranged everything and overcame the difficulties, always cheerful and extremely resolutive. All our requests were fulfilled on the run. He was great at animal-spotting, often better than the official ranger-guides of the national parks, extremely knowledgeable about the plants, birds, animals, food, history and culture of Uganda. 100 percent recommended!

Appreciated the extra help with our Visa process, flight challenges, and bag recovery - none of which were Lulu issues, yet Elvis and Charles stepped up to help. We loved our Uganda vacation - the people, animals, land, language, food, and culture.

If I could give Ossman more than 5* I would. We had the time of our lives and owe so much to Ossman’s kindness, organisation and knowledge (no question was too difficult.) We started with a guide and ended with a new friend. The team at Lulu organised everything fantastically and every accommodation was wonderful, with great staff, lovely rooms and tasty food. We will miss Uganda and Ossman and say thank you again for the wonderful 11 days we spent exploring this incredible country.

If we put together an ultimate wish list before we went, we couldn’t have begun to imagine how much this would beat anything we could have wished for. It all starts with the communication between ourselves and the Lulu Safaris team. Elvis answered every question and query thoughtfully and promptly, regardless of the day or time. He adjusted the plans and tailored them to meet our interests, which meant we included everything we hoped to (and more!) Upon arrival in Rwanda, we were met by our guide for the duration of the trip, Charles. Wow, how lucky were we! Warm, funny, helpful, knowledgable, there’s so much we could say about Charles, the King of safaris. Charles was there every step of the way, helping us and listening to our interests and making it happen. Even though we definitely made him work very hard (day safari, night safari, and then repeat and repeat again) and there was little time for rest, he was always smiling and happy. Thank you Charles for enabling us to cram in everything we wanted. If you prefer a slower pace to us, this would most certainly be catered for too. From an incredible gorilla trek where we came face to face, to a sleeping leopard right before us. With animals on the road as we drove, and beautiful sites during boat cruises. Walking safaris, golden monkey treking, chimpanzees and even reaching the equator point - we couldn’t have ever hoped for more. Stunning views, wonderful lodges with the most incredible and friendly staff who became like friends, tasty food and a whole lot of photography. We were fortunate to visit both Rwanda and Uganda on this trip. Both are beautiful places and we felt very welcome and safe. Most of our trip was in Uganda and we were so lucky to be able to explore the various landscapes and jewels that Uganda has to offer. Charles showed us these with pride which added even more to the experience. Thank you and thank you again to Charles and the Lulu Safaris team for making this trip of a lifetime give us the goal of returning when we can.

Lulu Safaris is an amazing tour company. We are a group of 4 (2 couples) who did a 11 day tour with Lulu Safaris across Uganda. My friend and I planned an exhaustive itinerary and shared it with Elvis. He gave suggestions and various options w.r.t the order of game drives, night safari options, hotel/lodge recommendations, etc. The conversations with him over Whatsapp were very easy and it felt he understood our requirements really well. All communications were in English. Our itinerary: Day 1: Start from Kampala at 7AM - Ziva Rhino sanctuary - Lunch - Murchison Top of the Falls - Stay at Heritage Safari Lodge Day 2: Morning game drive - nile Boat ride - Stay at Heritage Safari Lodge Day 3: Morning game drive - travel to kibale - Stay at Kibale Nature Camp Day 4: Chimpanzee habituation experience (4 hours) - Relax - Stay at Kibale Nature Camp Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) Morning Game drive - Evening Game drive - Stay at Lake Munyanyage Resort Day 6: (QENP) Morning Lion Tracking Experience (Highly Recommend) - Kazinga Channel - Night Game Drive - Stay at Lake Munyanyage Resort Day 7: Lion tracking in Ishasha sector - Night drive - Stay at Enjojo Safari Lodge Day 8: Ishasha Sector - Stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Experience at Rushaga - Stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp Day 10: Rushaga Gorilla Camp - Mburo - Stay at Kigarama Wilderness Lodge Day 11: Mburo Walking Safari - Equator - Entebbe Airport Drop Quality of service: Our tour guide, Samuel is a wonderful human being. From the time he picked us up at the airport to the time he dropped us off at the airport, Samuel took great care of our group. He patiently answered all our questions (we asked a lot) and made sure we got food on time, restroom breaks, took care of our belongings at every stop and made sure our overall experience was first class. He provided a lot of information w.r.t game drives in Uganda and the various scenarios one could experience w.r.t animal encounters. Within a day or two, he understood our group dynamics and worked very well with all of us. He has more than a decade worth of experience and one could tell. One of our members is a vegetarian and they ensured there were vegetarian options for every meal. They also planned a birthday surprise for my friend by coordinating with the hotel on that day. Value for money: We compared quite a few tour operators before selecting Lulu. They were a nice balance between comfort, flexibility and cost effectiveness. Though we saw a huge variety of animals and birds, I've added only a select few photos in this review. The parks in Uganda have a lot to offer. Overall, Elvis and Samuel were proactive with timely updates on our requests during the trip. If you are booking with Lulu Safaris, ask for Samuel.
