We did a 12-day tour which was completely taken care of by Lulu Safaris. Together with our guide and driver Samuel, we have been to all the interesting places in Uganda from Kampala. What a wonderful experience that was. Samuel completely unburdened us and expertly drove past rhinos, giraffes, elephants, chimpanzees, gorillas and what not. With a lot of expertise he showed us what beautiful birds there are. During the rides in nice conversations he told a lot about his country, life in Uganda and many other interesting things. 11 days together in a car could lead to discussion or unpleasant silences. That was not the case with us, we talked about anything and everything and got along just fine. We made the trip with the two of us and the nice thing about this setup is that you also make the game drives with your own vehicle so that you can stop where you want and take as long as you think necessary. The planning with all lodges and organizations was perfectly arranged, we were expected everywhere and were on time for all appointments, which deserves a compliment. The car in which we made the tour was an original Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series with a roof that could be opened, perfect for the game drives and completely in style for an optimal experience. We really enjoyed our trip through Uganda and thank everyone who contributed to this.

Our tour with Lulu has been great. We’ve been a total of 12 days with them, both in Uganda and Rwanda. We started our trip from Entebbe-Jinja, and then Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elisabeth, Ishasha, Bwindi and Kigali. We had the pleasure to have Derrick as our guide. He’s a lovely person, very knowledgeable and attentive to details. He always had the right answer for any curiosity we had, he also constantly commented whatever we could see on the way and also asked about our needs to make a stop constantly. He really gave a very personal touch during our trip, and made it extremely special. He also taught us some hints of the local language! All lodges were carefully selected together, and the experience was overall very good. There were minor issues in some of them like no hot water or good conexion, but it is what it is, they were in very remote locations. Need to highligh that Elvis, the owner, was 24/7 available on whatsapp for any concern we might have on our way. We’ve been lucky to discover Uganda from Lulu’s & specially Derrick’s hands. We can truly say now it is the Pearl of Africa, it offers many diff activities: safari, gorilla & chimps trecks, city tours, rafting, communities visit… We can state we came back with our hearts fulfilled and all desires accomplished. Thank you so much Derrick & Elvis, hope to travel with you guys again!

We cannot recommend Lulu safaris enough! Lorand was an excellent guide, knowledgeable about every animal, bird and plant we came across and eager to educate us during our 12 day tour. Lorand went above and beyond, ensuring every place we stayed /every activity we had booked were aware it was our honeymoon and to treat us especially well! We saw every animal we wished to see (again thanks to Lorand’s determination). We booked a mix of budget and mid-range accommodation. Every place was beautiful and unique with a commitment to making us feel most welcome and cared for. A personal highlight was a visit from a wild elephant at one of our hotels! With three 3-course meals a day included we were certainly well fed, and the food was always delicious. Our itinerary was well planned by Elvis before our arrival, we were able to make requests and amendments. We had some safety concerns before travelling, however Lulu safaris put our minds at ease and we were well cared for throughout our trip. We enjoyed mountain gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, safaris in different types of terrain alongside community visits which allowed us to connect with Ugandans. Lorand was happy to share his knowledge of history and show his pride in his country. Uganda has so much to offer and Lulu safaris was able to showcase the best that Uganda has to offer. Anyone looking to experience the beauty of the natural world of East Africa should look no further.

The experience with Lulu Safari was great! Uganda is truly the pearl of Africa, a daydream, a unique territory, where nature presents itself in all its splendor. We saw many animals: lions (even cubs), leopards, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, gazelles, hippos, crocodiles, chimpanzees. The gorilla search was a fantastic experience, truly incredible, in the middle of the jungle, and the family of gorillas we found filled our hearts. The lodges where we stayed were comfortable and clean, all set in beautiful surroundings, full of birds and plants. The staff was always friendly and understanding towards us. The rangers who accompanied us were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver Samuel was fantastic, really kind and ready to satisfy our requests, always with kindness and a big smile. The entire organization of Lulu Safari (the movements, the entrance to the parks, the meeting with the guides, etc.) was precise, in fact practically perfect. I really loved this trip, every day was a huge surprise, it filled me with wonderful, unforgettable memories. All this thanks also to Lulu safari and Samuel!

This is our third trip to Africa. Just finish our 13days trip in Uganda with our guide Charles fr Lulu safaris . We had a wonderful time with him, he made the trip even more fun n memorable. His knowledge make us understand Uganda more. We enjoyed all the activities, gorilla trekking, game drive and last day at ctc conservation. The lodges we stay so far has been ok but some are below our expectations, cleanliness is a concern.
