Check in at the counter inside the port building, then board a small/medium open air boat with seating along the sides, in the care of 2 young helpful gents. Motor to Taha'a for about 20 mins then alight into shallow water and walk along a sandy path. Walk into the water, then follow the guide through the towers of coral in a single file, by floating in a sky diving position. PLENTY of beautiful coral and fish. You stop at least once - the guides bring bananas as fish food and let you hand feed the fish. We even saw a moray eel! We did 2 drifts in the afternoon. The coral was quite close to the water surface so you need to follow the guide exactly (to avoid getting scraped) with the aid of a slight current. An experience I will never forget and treasure to the end of my days.

Everything about this experience was amazing! We could not have asked for better staff or a more beautiful snorkeling location. Jo was our guide and he went above and beyond making sure our experience was exceptional. He made sure to point out as many different types of fish as possible and helped us stop along the way so we could capture pictures. The coral and fish were amazing!!! Back at the dive shop the owner was very sweet and gave us a ride to a local grocery store so we didn't have to walk so far. I would highly recommend this tour!

Really good snorkeling. We did the drift twice which was great because it goes quite fast with the current. The boat ride is really nice. We even saw some dolphins on the way back. It was busy as there was the cruise ship tours, but it still not to miss.

This was a wonderful experience. Michael and Laurence were fabulous. Took us to a beautiful spot and highlighted many different fish for us. Can’t say enough good things about them and their efforts on our behalf. Would certainly recommend this!!

My sister-in-law set up this trip. She deserves a gold star - what a FANTASTIC trip! The guides picked us up at the tender dock and we knew to be ready for getting wet. We had a beautiful trip to the Coral Garden area with some history provided. We were a bit concerned with the rain coming in, but we were prepared. Upon arriving they gave us orientation and recommend to not use flippers, instead wear your water shoes. We departed the boat and walked the island to the entry spot. There the current was moving through the garden and with a bit of coaching we started our drift. They were so kind to help one sister-in-law with floating devices and my brother with fixing his mask. WOW WOW WOW what an awesome float - we cruised over fish, clams, beautiful corals. We stopped in a safe spot for a check in and then continued. The guides took us for a second float - I could have floated this 20 more times and still not had enough!!! Upon getting back in our boat they offered us fruit juices and snacks - welcomed after our salty wonderland visit!

The Dream day tour on Taháa truly was a delight. The pearl farm, distillery with so many wonderful food and oil products in addition to the alcohol, the vanilla farm (my favorite), a local grocery store that gave us a chance to see local food and culture, a boat ride including swimming with the sharks and snorkeling a coral garden and lunch on a motu with traditional Polynesian food. George was an amazing guide and we had a wonderful day under his guidance.
