Morocco was wonderful and we had a fantastic time. It was made even more special with the help of Mo. He made sure the whole group were always looked after and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. We saw so much of Morocco, and Mo was always very informative and interesting, but never overloaded us with information. He was lovely company and helped make our trip very special.

Three of us friends joined a small tour group and had a fabulous in depth Moroccan trip. Our tour leader Mohammed (“Mo”) truly made the experience exceptional along with the group, we left as friends. Mo always looked out for our group and went above and beyond — one evening he even ran back to the hotel from dinner in town to sort out a room issue for one of our group. One of my favourite moments was the camel ride across the desert dunes near Merzouga to our tented camp. It was a little scary getting on and off the camels, but Mo and the guides made it safe and fun, including wrapping our head scarves. Mo even walked with us to take videos and pics of our ride. That evening we enjoyed Berber music around the fire while looking up at a magnificent sky full of stars. It turned into an unforgettable highlight. Even hotel check-ins were fun, Mo would open his hands so we could pick our room key, making sure no one felt someone else got the “better” room. When we asked if the rooms were nice, he would smile and say, “Same, same… but different,” which became our running joke for the trip. Mo’s local knowledge, warmth, humour, and genuine care made our Moroccan adventure truly memorable. If you’re lucky enough to have Mo as your tour leader, you’re in excellent hands

I had the great pleasure of Mo being the tour leader for a group that I travelled with in November. He was such a great leader. No only is he very knowledgeable, he is extremely kind and looked after all of us as if we were family. I would travel with Mo again - any time.

Mo's tour was absolutely wonderful. My partner and I went to Morrocco for a holiday that would be a real cultural experience, with some historical site exploration. Mo is a brilliant local guide for Morocco, and really engaged with us to make sure we were having a good time the whole tour, from making sure we were happy with our accommodation, to checking if the food was alright. When those of us needed an urgent trip to the pharmacy, he came with us to ensure the translation was accurate, and for our safety. He was also very interested in learning about our culture and where we came from as well. He speaks 3 languages fluently, and had us smiling the whole trip. He even got up early to come with us and watch the sunrise in the Sahara so that we were safe and not lost. His tour was brilliant, we saw some amazing historical sites, sampled some awesome local food (he was very good in letting us know what was safe to eat for a westerner who's not used to the water, and what to avoid), and we got to have some really unique experiences with the local villages too. There is so much culture to appreciate in Morocco and so much beauty in the architecture. Chefchaowan was my favourite place, the entire city was blue! Mo even made sure we made it to our airport transfer ok once the tour had concluded, he really does go above and beyond for you. If you're after a holiday that's different, a little adventurous, with unique food and a real cultural experience, take Mo's tour of Morrocco. Really enriching in so many ways!

My trip to Morocco was so awesome I do not quite know where to begin ... every aspect of the trip was excellent. My group of fellow travellers were terrific people and I made many friends. Initially I was a little unsure about solo travel but with the outstanding communication skills and organisational experience of Mo this quickly became a non-issue. Mo has a very personal gift ... he is able to talk about all sorts of aspects of life and history in Morocco, but he's also able to share a joke with you ... he generates a very good vibe within the travel group. Everybody felt confident that everything was always under control and very well organised. We visited a vast array of very diverse geographic, historic and cultural destinations ... and Mo was always able to answer our unending questions. The local guides also helped provide some fantastic insights to life in Morocco, which I found a real highlight. I could not recommend travelling with Mo and Atlas Odyssey enough. Would I do it again? Definitely, 100% no doubts whatsoever. Thanks heaps again Mo, you're a legend.

If you’re touring Morocco and you don’t get Mo as your guide, I’m not saying you should reschedule your entire trip… but I’m also not not saying that. From the moment we met, he had the perfect balance of professional, knowledge and “don’t worry, I’ve got you” energy, which is essential when navigating medinas that feel like beautiful, charming labyrinths designed by someone who dislikes straight lines. Mo answered every question, from deep historical insights to the truly important ones like, “how long until the next bathroom” and “is the salad safe to eat?” He managed camel logistics like a seasoned desert traffic controller and somehow always knew the best photo spots (even the ones we didn’t know we needed). Traveling can be stressful, but not when you’re in the hands of someone who clearly loves what they do and takes genuine pride in showing you “Mo’s Morroco” which is what our group nicknamed our trip. I would highly recommend him. 5 stars all the way!!

Moe was the perfect guide on this tour. He centered our comfort and safety while providing the resources we needed if we wanted to strike out on our own. The attractions we visited were focused on providing historical context, as well as supporting the best initiatives of modern Morocco.
