  I joined a 13 day custom private tour with 4 other women I did not know. Osgur was our guide and Taylan our driver. By the end of the tour all of us were fast friends! This was by far THE BEST experience I have had. And it was all due to our amazing guide Osgur! He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Turkey. He brought us to attractions where most people go and to some hidden gems, like finding a diamond in the rough! He showed us the beauty of Turkey, its rich culture and history and the wonderful Turkish people. Osgur personifies what a true tour guide should be. He made us laugh and joined in our conversations. The lunch places chosen were amazing, opening our eyes to the wonderfully delicious Turkish cuisine. Even though Turkish cuisine is meat based, he paid attention to finding places that catered for vegetarians like me. By the end of the tour he was familiar with our drinks of choice, our personalities and idiosyncrasies. He made sure we were all taken care of. This made our tour all the more enjoyable and memorable!! Everything went off without a hitch. Even though we encountered rainy cold weather in Cappadocia we enjoyed every moment of the tour. Honestly we looked forward to each day! Our driver could not speak English but he joined in our laughter and was ever so friendly and sensitive to our needs. His wife made walnut stuffed figs which he served to us each day. I highly recommend Felicity Travel, and if you get Osgur, you hit the jackpot!!

• Amazing Tour with Özgür!

  Not sure where to even begin describing our wonderful private tour with Felicity, it truly exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, working with Ertunga and Mari was a fantastic experience. They were incredibly helpful in designing a 14-day itinerary that included everything we wanted to see and experience across Turkey. The highlight of our journey was our amazing tour guide, Özgür. He brought both Turkish and biblical history to life in a way that was engaging and unforgettable. His knowledge of general history, archaeology, and biblical sites is exceptional—he has a unique ability to transport you back in time at every stop. I’ve been on many tours throughout my life, but this one was by far the best, and that is largely thanks to Özgür. He was also incredibly adaptable. When unexpected situations arose, like helping one of our travelers find properly fitting shoes after a spa accident, or adjusting plans when we couldn’t visit a museum. He handled everything seamlessly and often found even better alternatives. On top of that, he has a great sense of humor and was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Özgür also did a fantastic job selecting restaurants. Our group had a variety of dietary needs, and he made sure everyone was well taken care of at every meal (even keeping an eye out for a Diet Pepsi for me!). Our driver, Thailan, was equally wonderful. He was professional, kind, and an incredibly safe driver. Navigating tight spaces with ease in our large, comfortable van. We experienced so many incredible sights, but one standout was the lunch and cooking class in a local family home. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. Overall, I strongly recommend Felicity for anyone considering a private tour of Turkey. It was truly an unforgettable experience thanks to Özgür.

  We are a 8-peole group and enjoyed an extraordinary journey, thanks to our kind, seasoned and remarkably knowledgeable tour guide, Ertunga Ecir. He masterfully arranged visits to the best historical sites, religious places, and natural wonders, ensuring a well-paced and enriching experience. Ertunga's deep understanding of religion, history, and culture, particularly the Greek and Roman transition, the shift from Paganism to Christianity, and Turkish history, was truly impressive. Beyond the sights, he was consistently flexible and accommodating, and made sure we savored genuine Turkish cuisine by taking us to fantastic local restaurants. With delicious food and unique, thoughtfully arranged accommodations. This trip would not be so successful without Mari's seamless coordination and Victor's skillful and reliable driving. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone eager to explore these pivotal historical periods, gain a better understanding of Turkey's rich past and enjoy Turkey's unique nature beauty.

• Felicity Travel - an amazing experience

  Turkey was surprising on every level. This is thanks to Felicity Travel! Their organisation of the tour; the variety and flexibility of the experiences we had from, hiking the beautiful Ihlara Valley, to the many amazing historical sites such as Ephesus to the unbelievable Goreme Valley cave churches; the comfortable travel they offered; the 4 star accommodation; outstanding genuine Turkish restaurants all were outstanding. But none of this would have mattered had we not had our amazing guide....Tuna. His easy manner made him very easy to connect with. Because it was a private tour we could and did talk to him often even while traveling. We felt got the real Turkish experience. Erschev was our driver was a lovely, very happy chap. See the photo below. I have told many people about our Turkish experience. At least one set of friends want to do the same 12 Day Private Tour that we did, next year. So I can happily recommend Felicity Travel to others because of the amazing Turkish experience we had.

  Ertunga and Mari were so great and detailed with all the accommodations. Everything was so well planned out that the 12 day private tour was so stress free and relaxful. We had very high rated accommodations from hotels to restaurants. Ertunga, tour guide, even drove to the airport in bad traffic to get my lost luggage at airport and brought it back to my hotel. Greatly appreciated. That just showed how they tried to provide the best service and went out of their way to make everything better if you run into any troubles. Also, the Turkish people including Ertunga and Mari are very nice and honest. I felt very safe walking around Turkey even at night. I found that Turkey is even safer than France or Italy because there are no gypsies begging for money. The Turkish people take pride and care in themselves and their families which is why you don’t see any homeless people. So overall, I had a wonderful time with Ertunga’s tour and would highly recommend all my friends and family members.

  We travelled as family and friends ( party of 8) with Felicity Travels. The ease of booking the itinerary to the minute details in accommodating the daily excursions we requested prior to the trip was great. Maria would answer our questions even at midnight in her time zone. Last minute changes were not an issue. Communication was very clear. Ertunga was our guide. No words to describe how entertaining and knowledgeable he was about Ancient History and all the little fun facts about all the sites we visited. He intuitively or most probably knew by experience exactly what the group was looking for in terms of visits. He managed to get a WOW! Every single day we spent with him. The hotels were top notch especially the Cave hotel in Cappadocia which made us feel like kings and queens. Ertunga understood how food and culture are crucial to making this trip outstanding for all of us. All the food was great and full of variety from elegant restaurants to local hole in the wall to freshly cooked homemade style by the locals. Unforgettable trip. • Extraordinary Trip to Turkey

  We have just returned from a 13-day private tour of Turkey Arranged by Ertunga and Mari Ecir, owners of FELICITY TRAVEL. Our tour guide was Mustafa and the driver was Vecdi. First let us tell you that the service from start to finish was superior. Ertunga spent a lot of initial upfront time with us customizing the itinerary to meet all of our requests. Once we landed Mari welcomed us to Istanbul and told us our guide’s name and what time he would meet us the next day to start our tour. The next day when we would start our tour at 9:30. We were in the lobby at 9:15 and our guide Mustafa was all ready there waiting. Mustafa was incredible. His historical explanations and background stories made the trip come to life. He took us to all the best lunch places where locals ate and this gave us a unique perspective of the local culture and customs. We can only say he made the trip great. Also, our trip included a tremendous amount of driving based on our itinerary so we want to extend a special thanks to our driver Vecdi. He did a great job keeping us safe all through the trip. With all that said if you do not use FELICITY TRAVEL for your next trip you are missing out on an experience of a life time. Thank you again, The Cerra Family

• Turkey exceeded all our expectations

  We took a two-week tour of Turkey with Felicity Travel in May 2024. Ertunga and his wife Maria organized a wonderful trip for 5 of us. They took care of every detail, choosing interesting sites to see, and incorporated outdoor adventures we wanted to include such as boat rides, swimming, and hiking and … a sunrise hot-air balloon ride! The hotels and meals were all incredible. Vicdi was a very good driver and spoiled us, stopping at vegetable stands to buy cherries, apricots, and the most delicious strawberries we ever tasted. The van was comfortable and had a map displayed which was very helpful. Cold water and wi-fi were always available. Every detail was covered and we learned so much from Ertunga about the long history of the region. I highly recommend touring Turkey with Felicity Travel. It is a marvelous way to see Turkey and you’ll get to experience all this wonderful country has to offer. Ertunga was the ultimate host – always making sure things were ok. Plus he’s a really nice guy!

  Let me start by saying, Ertunga and his team at Felicity Travels are simply the best! From the time, I first contacted him (two months before our travel), I found Ertunga to be a great combination of professional excellence with personal touch. Throughout the planning process and even during the trip, Ertunga was responsive and patient in answering questions, adapting scheduling requests, and addressing queries. Everyone on his team (2 different drivers, 2 guides – Nilay and Ugur plus Ertunga himself) went out of their way to make sure we had a stress-free and blissful vacation. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and eager to share the history of the amazing places we were seeing. The drivers were on-time, every time. The transportation was very comfortable, was stocked with water and soft drinks and even had Wi-Fi! Thank you Ertunga and team for making our short trip to Turkey so memorable! I would recommend Felicity Travel & Ertunga, unhesitatingly, to any of my family or friends.
