This 12 days Upper Mustang trek package offers a spectacular trekking on the remote area of Trans - Himalayan Mountains with an influence culture of Tibetan. Higher Kaligandaki valley is the desert region of the Tibetan plateau from which it borders Kagbeni in the south and generally referred to as Upper Mustang. Here you get the chance to explore thousand years of monastery, local tribes, caves, and scenic beauties of different landscapes.
Kaligandaki region is the world’s deepest gorge and here you will make an adventure and you will also find the world’s highest region of Lo-Mangthang valley which passes through an almost barren landscape with colorful mountains which look like craftmanship work; just having shrubs and bushes around. Also, this trek offers panoramic views of Mount. Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other peaks.

What To Expect
Day 1: Drive to Pokhara Private car transfer to Pokhara (6 hours). Overnight at hotel Kantipur or similar. B.B. Day 2: Flight Pokhara - Jomsom (2720m), and trek to Kagbeni (2810m, 2 hours walking). Overnight at hotel. B.B. Day 3: Trek to Samar (3660m, 6-7 hours walking). Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 4: Trek to Geling (3570m, 5 - 6 hours walking). Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 5: Trek to Tsarang (3560m, 6-7 hours walking). Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 6: Trek to Lo - Manthang (3809m, 4 hours walking). Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 7: Excursion in Lo - Manthang. Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 08 - 10: Return Trek to Jomsom. Overnight at Guest house. B.L.D. Day 11: Return flight to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel. B.L.D. Day 12: Return to Kathmandu by private car. Tour ends.

5.00In May, we six friends decided to trek the Upper Mustang journey. After looking at a few businesses, we received an email from one of my friends who had previously taken services from the Nepal Hiking agency. Tilak and Bhairam at the agency responded to all of our enquiries when we called them. They gave us all the information we needed to know before our trip, and they offered fantastic service throughout. Therefore, we can't think of anything to complain about them. They provided guides and porters, who were friendly and helpful. At all times, we felt safe. Also, the weather was perfect. If you’re looking for world-class trekking experiences Nepal Hiking is the way to go!

5.00This was my second visit to Nepal and another great experience with Nepal Hiking. Bhairam is excellent manager who will go an extra mile to make you feel welcomed, secure and comfortable. Gokal and Bishnu were excellent guides and companions during wonderful trek to Upper Mustang. What I really liked is flexibility in adjusting to our tempo and our wishes. They really took care of us, especially being with my girlfriend who was first time in Nepal and doing trekking. Great communication, honesty and professionalism. I will be coming back in October for another Annapurna trek and again will be doing it with Nepal Hiking! Great work guys!
