Edison from Bamboo Ecotours was really a great person to deal with during our trip plan. Since the beginning he has been really helpful, clear, well organized and detailed in the information provided. He was very quick to respond since the beginning with superlative attention in organizing all the details and drawing down the trip schedule. We arranged together with him some modifications to the original plan, adding some days: everything has been managed wonderfully. Bamboo Ecotours dealed with all the necessary bookings and formalities for all the trip. The trip itself has been a great experience, with a perfect 4x4 car and Fred was a great and experienced guide and driver. He well managed all the trip, providing with information, explanations and support. We opted for budget accomodations, and every accomodation provided by Bamboo Ecotours was really good without any issue. Planning with Bamboo Ecotours was easy and quick. If we ever plan another trip in Uganda or Rwanda, we will definitely book again with Bamboo. Highly reccomended company!

I have always wanted to trek to see the gorillas, and Bamboo Ecotours made that dream possible. I had looked at several companies, but Edison, the owner, was the only person who responded quickly and was able to answer all of my questions. He was even more amazing when my friend and I missed the connecting flight to Entebbe and arrived a day late. Edison was able to change all of the accommodations by a day. My only regret is that I didn't realize that I could have customized the tour a bit more. I would recommend spending an extra day at Lake Bunyonyi, as we didn't have time to explore the lake. Plus, it would have been nice to have a day to relax a bit. We had upgraded to the moderate accommodations which were wonderful, many with fantastic views. We were provided way too much food though, and I noticed that they catered for vegetarians. Fred, our driver, was great and was willing to accommodate whatever we needed. The appropriate Covid testing was arranged for our trip home, which was much appreciated. As for Uganda...what a fantastic country! I had no idea that it would be so beautiful and have so much to offer. I was amazed at the number of animals and birds that we saw, and I was pleased that the insects seemed to be at a minimum. I would love to go back and see some of the museums and visit some of the birding areas. If and when I do, it will be with Bamboo Ecotours!

First I have to say thank you to Edison for arranging this tour, because I am a solo traveler in East Africa and I was looking for a tour, where I can take part in a group. Edison made it possible, so we were a group of two and could share the costs. The tour was well organized and had a good varied program. We had a very good driver called Herbert. He is a patient and very friendly person. He drove savely and was very good in seeing animals in the parks. Our guide was Joseph. A very nice man and good in entertaining. He gave us regularly detailed information about the tour and information about the nature and country. It was a budget tour. The accommodations were very different. Some were excellent (like the Queen Elizabeth Bush lodge), others were disappointing (like the golden monkey guesthouse). Thanks a lot to my companion Joana - we spent a great time together! I highly recommend this tour!
