Tour owner and operator Anil Bhatta organized the entire tour covering all aspects of the treks - permits, registrations, hotel booking, arranging guides and porters. We met Anilji in Kathmandu and there he introduced us to Ashok our guide and sarathi for the trip. Ashok is a fabulous, knowledgeable and an amazing guide. Ashokji have been a guide for EBC treks and have taken like 30+ trips and knew the path like the back of his hand. He took care of all the arrangements, making sure we were focused on the walking and breathing through the next 12 days. At Lukla we met our three porters and Kishoreji's assistant guide Dev. Dev is another young, upcoming and warm hearted guide who made sure everything was all set for us. Dev gave us fabulous 5 star level service through the trek. All arrangements done by Yolo hikes were perfect and we had a fabulous time during the entire trip. I will highly recommend Yolo hikes and will definitely use them for all my future trip planning in Himalayas!

I embarked on this 'once in a lifetime' trek to the Everest three passes (Kongma La, Cho La and Renjo La), and also to the Everest base camp, Kala Patthar, Gokyo Ri, Nangkar peak and Island peak base camp. My tour organiser was Yolohike Pvt Ltd based in Kathmandu. I have been using their services for a while and hence my trust on Yolohike is solid. But this time they outdid themselves. While they provided me with every possible service and care, they stood apart from the other tour organisers. Below are the highlights that puts Yolohike in a completely different league of tour organisers: 1. Guiding me on the requirements for the 21 day trek for 3-4 months prior to the trek (physical preparation, stuff to carry, clothing etc.) 2. Picking me up from the airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle, accommodation in a 4 star hotel in Kathmandu, arranging Pashupatinath darshan on day-1, getting an experienced guide who helped in final preparations for the trek, providing me with a local sim for Nepal, providing me with a duffle bag, down jacket, and a high-quality sleeping bag. 3. Providing me with a guide and a porter for the trip. I was the only person to have a guide and a porter. Everyone else only had a guide cum porter. 4. Complete flexibility in the trip schedule. I could change the plan whenever I wanted. For e.g. if a particular day was too exhausting, I could take the next day as a rest day. 5. Provided the best possible accommodation throughout the trip. This is not an assumption. I actually checked the other places at the locations of stay. The accommodation organised for me by Yolohike was the best in that location. 6. Continuously being in touch to ensure my well-being. 7. Changing my return ticket from Lukla to Kathmandu twice (no extra charge) due to me changing the plan twice. 8. Providing me with fabulous trek completion certificates. I checked with other persons who did the same trek. They either didn't get any certificate or got a rather mundane and boring looking certificate. 9. A heartwarming farewell by the entire Yolohike team, and a drop-off to the airport. To summarise, Yolohike is not just about service for money. It is about the value they provide. They are a simply outstanding tour company. I have recommended them to several of my contacts, and I shall continue to trust in Yolohike for all my future trips to Nepal and Tibet.

I recently (Aug 2023) completed hiking the Everest Base Camp(EBC) during Nepal’s Monsoon season. One of my friend referred YOLOHIKE company for my EBC adventure. This was my first trip to Nepal ,which was made memorable by the exceptional professionalism from Yolohike’s team (Mr Anil Bhatta , Mr Taranath (Guide)and Mr Teekmaan(Porter). Mr Anil was patient enough to respond to all my questions and send me a detailed itinerary about the EBC trek. I was impressed with Mr Anil’s dedication and responding to all my messages almost instantaneously . I knew the weather won’t be that great during the monsoon season in Nepal especially the flights to Lukla gets cancelled . My flight to Lukla was cancelled both going to /from Lukla due to bad weather. Mr TN and Mr Anil worked on getting the first flight next day, so that there are no further delays in my trip.I am sure without them my trip would have been delayed by couple of days. Mr TN’s (Guide) extensive knowledge of the terrain and caring demeanor made the trek a joyous and fulfilling adventure. TN and Teekmann (Porter) went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, making me feel supported and motivated every step of the way. I am immensely grateful for their expertise and kindness, which elevated my EBC trek to an unforgettable experience. TN also made sure the tea houses we stayed had very good food and good toilets. I was lucky to see Mt Everest close by from Mt.Kalapather. Thanks to my guide Mr.TN for taking great pictures. I have already decided to revisit Nepal along with my family and surely will make use of Yolohikes . Thanks, Srini(Boston,US)

If you had asked me at the start of 2023 whether I would have a chance to see Mt. Everest, I would've said maybe in a few years. This trip is something that I would never forget in my life and is definitely full of stories to share and experiences to be gained. My trip was from 25th May to 7th July, and I was blessed with one of the best weathers to hike. Clear blue skies, sun's warm rays and the usual chilly wind! YOLO Hike handled everything for me and I didn't have to lift a finger. The accommdation and the food throughout the trek was excellent, very clean and homely. I am grateful to my trekking guide Pralad, who took the heartiest efforts to make this solo trip enjoyable and very bubbly, understanding, helping and humble person. I am also thankful for my porter Bheem, without whom i would not have been able to bring my belongings with me up the elevation. Lastly, I am lucky and pleased to have gone with YOLO Hike, headed by Anil Bhatia, who took such a good care of stay and experience in Nepal, bringing me places to explore and try different food. I could not have asked for a better combination of people for this journey. Nepal is a beautiful country with humble people and delicious food. I whole heartedly recommend Yolo Hike to organise tours for all my family and friends and suggest Pralad and his siblings as your trekking guide, all of whom are bubbly people. Once again, thank you for this experience Yolo Hike, I will not forget this trip. <3
