• Fantastic way to enjoy the River Kwai

  We had such a fantastic time on our morning paddleboarding that we arranged a second trip a couple of days later. It was a highlight of our family holiday to Thailand. Our guides were lovely - really fun and engaging but also knowledgeable and safety conscious. We learnt lots of new techniques which wasn’t really something I was looking to do but it made the trips even more enjoyable. Our teenage kids absolutely loved it.

  Professional set up. Saftey paramount. Experience Wonderful. SUP ~ Learnt new paddling techniques, incorporated in a fun setting. Clean water. Distance covered perfect for beginners or intermediate. Great to see river life. So worth it. Cycling a fun leisurely meadner through a rural setting. Fun to see life behind the busy streets. Bikes decent. Staff spoke english and were highly informative in both SUP and 22km Cycle ride.

  What an incredible experience! We did a morning 2 hour stand-up paddle boarding private lesson on the River Kwai. We had lunch in a great Thai restaurant and then in the afternoon we did another 2 hour lesson in the River Kwai Noi in Sai Yok national park. The scenery was beautiful and Troy and Ohm are absolutely brilliant. So friendly and professional. This activity is perfect for beginners or experienced paddle boarders. Highly recommended.

  We really enjoyed having a private lesson. Troy was a great teacher and we had a fab time while also learning some new skills. Both myself and my teen boys thoroughly enjoyed our lesson and would highly recommend it.

  Troy - Thanks so much for the great morning paddle and bike ride for my wife and son (Brenna and Avery) and myself. We had such a fun time learning some new SUP skills, as well as enjoying the beautiful scenery on the river. I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Kanchanaburi. Its was so great to be on the river!

  Thank you for a wonderful experience!! This was my first time trying a paddle board and I truly anticipated struggling. Troy and Ohm were such fantastic and encouraging instructors, helping me learn skills needed to be both safe and successful and having loads of fun along the way. Our paddle down the river was definitely one of the best days I spent in Kanchanaburi. My daughter (24) and I (52) loved every moment and look forward to another trip with SUP Hire Thailand when I come back to the area. I highly recommend this company for all experience levels!

  I'm a teacher in Bangkok and my students gifted me a paddle board and biking adventure as an end-of-year gift. I took my 63-year-old mother and we had a blast! Troy was very accommodating, allowing us to come a few weeks past the expiration date of the gift card. He and his crew did a great job of nudging us in the just the right ways on the board. My mom was really hesitant at first and when Troy said, "You WILL fall in the water... let's practice it!" it helped my mom feel more relaxed and ready to try new things. Biking in Kanchanaburi is a great experience-- so much to see and really safe, open roads. To top it off, our guides on both days took great photos for us and shared them after our trip. Our two trips with SUP Hire Thailand were the highlight of our trip west. We would both gladly recommend this company to others!

  Troy and his team were fantastic in their instruction and care for our family especially our young sins of 8,6 and 3 years old. They struck a perfect (and potentially very difficult) balance getting us to learn the basics of SUP along with it being loads of fun. We love the natural world and plenty of colourful birds were pointed out to us along with the tracks of a HUGE monitor lizard. Troy also documented the whole experience by taking photos on his Go Pro camera taking away this burden so we could all enjoy the experience. The scenery was stunning! A great afternoon with a perfect balance of growth through the acquisition of new skills as well as fun. Many thanks to you all!
