Muscat tour: visiting sultan Qaboos grand mosque Early at 8:30 am then head to Mutrah Suq : the largest Suq in the country , having lunch there , then head to the National museum.

Izki

Start to the Hajar Mountains which sits like a crown on the top of Oman land and map, to Izki having a walk through the mud Brik ancient settlements and to Birkat Al Mawz walking around Harat As Sibani , having lunch there and continue to Wadi Muadin where we have our first camp . Nizwa

The plan is not to break the camp and leave one of the crew at camp site , so we can head to the Friday market of Nizwa as early as possible! This is a rare chance to see the Omani people in the market. Visit the castle and at noon time drive back to camp where we have lunch and then break camp and drive to Hasat Bin Salt : a prehistory unique and impressive rock carving!

Jebel Shams

Head to Jabal Shams the highest point in Arabia and start the balcony walk : this easy going trek offers an excellent vantage point from a balcony style ledge looking down into the incredible canyon ( a pair of trekking poles is recommended ). Camp in wadi Nakhur . B/L/D Included Overnight camp 3

Visit Bahla fort a UNESCO world heritage site then continue towards Fahud area where we fuel the cars for the 600 km off road crossing from Fahud To Muqshin ! and continue to wadi Aswad where we camp in the Sands of the Empty Quarter . B/L/D Included Overnight camp 4

Oman

The plan is to cross the area of um al Samim which Thesiger was keen to explore for its reputation among the Bedouins to be formidable! Because the drainage water from the Hajar mountains used to collect there making salt swamps known as quick sands, now there is a dam in the mountains preventing this , However if the area is wet because of rain will have to wait or change route! When we cross Umm Al Samim will enter the area of magnificent huge dunes where we camp. B/L/D Included Overnight Camp 5

Oman

Continue towards Qurun El Fedah where the star dunes area is located and to Ramlet Abu Tabul area then continue south towards Ramlet Al Sahmah , exploring for spectacular dunes formation camping in one of the most beautiful deserts in the world!

Crossing al Sahma area where some white baby dunes appear, during our everyday morning and afternoon walks will be looking for stone tools, arrow heads and any stone age traces , and photographing a rarely visited part of the world Camp in Ramlet Muqshin. B/L/D Included Overnight camp 7

Oman

Drive to the highway towards Al Ghaftayn where we fuel and refresh our supplies then to Hayma , camping at Jiddat al Harasis desert short distance outside the wildlife reserve. B/L/D included Overnight camp 8

Al Wusta Governorate

Visit the reserve in the morning where some fair number of Oryx and Gazelle can be seen then continue descending Al Haqf depression camping there. B/L/D included Overnight camp 9

Wahiba Sands

Head towards Wahiba sands to start our dune crossing adventure while exploring the beautiful dunes , Entering from the western edge following an old local track will enable us to see more different parts of the sands. B/L/D Included Overnight camp 10

Wahiba Sands

Crossing the vast enormous linear dunes which extends up to 50 km in length towards umm adalian , continue through the central part of the Sands then continue North on the rarely visited track away from the crowded permanent campsites. Camping a short distance close to the main road. B/L/D Included Overnight camp 11

Wadi Bani Khalid

Visit wadi Bani Khaled enjoying swimming at the lovely pools and having lunch there then head back to Muscat, check in hotel. B/L Included
