Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa/ Jordan Departure from Q.A.I. Airport or Amman south towards Petra, to explore Jordan's best known attraction and the UNESCO World Heritage site. Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom, whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk down the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the impressive Treasury. Explore the city, including the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs, after the visit Depart Petra towards Wadi Rum.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Wadi Rum has recently been inscribed by UNESCO as a new World Heritage Site displaying unique natural beauty and cultural significance. Inhabited since prehistoric times, it owes its current fame to Lawrence of Arabia, who spent time there during the Arab Revolt of 1916 against the Ottomans. It is Jordan's largest desert and one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. From the terrain, flora, and fauna, the sites, and the culture of the local Bedouins, there is much to be seen and experienced in Rum, whether it be on a jeep tour, camel trek, hiking or even on a hot-air balloon ride. Arrive to your camp in the middle of the desert. Dinner and overnight.

The entire trip was excellent, and Mohammed was such a great driver and guide. Always helpful, always willing to go the extra mile (literally as well).

We had a really great time, the schedule is quick, but if you have limited amount of time it is the best choice to book this trip, as we saw Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea as well. Our driver, Mohamad was realy nice and told us interesting things about Jordan. This trip was well-organized, efficient, and filled with memorable moments. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the highlights of Jordan in a short amount of time!

Overall, I’m happy with this tour, but it’s not for everyone. This tour is fast-paced but an efficient way to see Jordan's major attractions. It's more expensive than booking a driver and accommodations on your own (which usually include a jeep tour and food in Wadi Rum), but you save a lot of time by having the tour operator handle all the bookings. This saves you from the hassle, even if it costs a few hundred dollars more than booking everything yourself. While you can get great photos of all the main attractions and Instagram spots, there’s not enough time to fully enjoy each location. If you don’t leave early on the first day, you’ll miss important parts of Petra, like the Monastery. Even if you leaves early, you probably won’t have enough time to see Monastery unless hire a donkey: for the round trip, it costs about 70 JOD per person. Petra is too big and this tour is too short. This tour is ideal if you want to see the highlights quickly and are willing to pay extra for a professional service to save time. However, it’s not the best option for those on a budget or who prefer to spend more time exploring. Other Tips: Cash: Bring enough cash with you. ATM fees in Jordan are high and there is a big mark up. Credit card surcharges are also steep in Jordan. Dead Sea Day Pass: Check with hotel beforehand for any special discounts on day passes, especially if you’re a loyalty member with brands like Accor, Marriott, Hilton, or IHG. You might even save money booking a room for a night (and get access to free meals in the executive lounge if you are an elite member) instead of buying a day pass. If you want to save time, you can ask the tour operator to arrange this for you. It won’t be the cheapest, but it’s more convenient. Overall, I’m happy with the driver and tour, but I deducted one star because I think the tour agency could be more proactive. In my experience with other multi-day tours, the operators usually reach out to me on WhatsApp to provide important information and confirm any special requests. In this case, I had to contact them for details instead.
