Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa/ Jordan Departure from Q.A.I. Airport or Amman south towards Petra, to explore Jordan's best known attraction and the UNESCO World Heritage site. Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom, whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk down the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the impressive Treasury. Explore the city, including the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs, after the visit Depart Petra towards Wadi Rum.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Wadi Rum has recently been inscribed by UNESCO as a new World Heritage Site displaying unique natural beauty and cultural significance. Inhabited since prehistoric times, it owes its current fame to Lawrence of Arabia, who spent time there during the Arab Revolt of 1916 against the Ottomans. It is Jordan's largest desert and one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. From the terrain, flora, and fauna, the sites, and the culture of the local Bedouins, there is much to be seen and experienced in Rum, whether it be on a jeep tour, camel trek, hiking or even on a hot-air balloon ride. Arrive to your camp in the middle of the desert. Dinner and overnight.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast
Breakfast at your camp. Morning tour of the Wadi covering the highlights for 2-3 hours in local off-road vehicles operated by the Bedouins, or optional balloon ride (requires prior booking, payable separately). Depart Wadi Rum for a 4 hour trip to the Dead Sea. Stop At: Dead Sea Resort/ Jordan Part of the Great Rift Valley, the Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth, at 408 meters below sea level. Due to its high salinity, one can only float in its warm, oily waters. The mud along the shore contains many minerals and is believed to have medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Visit the beach of this 5* resort and enjoy the sun and the sea, then transfer back to Amman

In general everything was good, Petra was unbelievable, be prepared to walk a lot but you have the chance to get a golf cart if you need it, they only complain we have is at waddy rum tents, ours has a pretty bad sewer smell and the bed doesn’t have pillow covers, and was like a little dirty, after that adventure in the desert was really nice too. Our driver was professional and kind and minivan in mint condition.

The tour itself was well organized, in terms of schedules and activities, our driver Sameer, was always punctual, helpful and available. Petra, fantastic. Wadi Rum, nice experience, staff of the camp also very attentive and available. Generalized limitation, practically do not understand or speak English, being in certain situations more complicated, communication. Negative point, the Dead Sea is not included, that is, the driver only takes us to the spot, it is only this that is included. To have access to the Dead Sea we have to enter a resort, pay at least 40 USD/ px (without lunch) or 50 USD/ px (with lunch, but not a single bottle of water included), beach towels not included and paid separately. We spent, in addition to the amount paid for the tour, more 109€ to enter the resort (strand without quality, which if we did not know we were in the Dead Sea, we would not, so knowing this, we would not do this part of the tour, we paid even more 2 JOD for a towel and 2 JOD for a batch of water at lunch. Money very badly spent, we didn't like it. Worse even and very negative point for Elite Tours that only mentioned that we would have this extra cost, on the eve of the tour, that is, we were already in Jordan, with the paid tour about two weeks ago and no choice, we had to pay. The person from the company who spoke with us was quite rude after we complained about Whatsapp that we were not aware of this cost, inclusive threatened that he would report to Viator because we were indicating that we would do a review on this situation. If we know well, the reviews are a right and prevent tourists from going through identical situations by ignorance. Thank you.

This was a good overall experience. Was a little rushed because we covered all 3 (petra, wadi rum, and dead sea) in 2 days/1night, but it was fine. I felt i could have spent 2 nights in wadi rum - the mars camping experience was great!!! The distances from amman to petra and from wadi rum to dead sea is 3-4 hrs each, plus the drivers will take 15-30 break for you to allow for some shopping. Picked up from airport at 10am; arrived petra at 1:30pm; left petra at 4:30pm; arrived at wadi rum camp around 6:30pm, dinner at 8pm; sleep; next day breakfast at 7am; 2hr wadi rum jeep tour: left wadi rum around 11am; arrived dead sea holiday inn resort at 3pm; quick lunch and then swim in dead sea; stayed till 6pm: left for amman. You have to pay separately for entrances for petra, wadi rum, and dead sea resort.

My husband and I had the best experience visiting Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea thanks to our driver Nabeel taking care of us. He made us feel welcomed right away, very friendly and informative. He made sure we had water, wifi, coffee anything we needed to make the trip great and it was. He also helped with airport transportation. 10/10 highly recommend!

We had a really great time, the schedule is quick, but if you have limited amount of time it is the best choice to book this trip, as we saw Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea as well. Our driver, Mohamad was realy nice and told us interesting things about Jordan. This trip was well-organized, efficient, and filled with memorable moments. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the highlights of Jordan in a short amount of time!

Our driver Mohamed was amazing! I’d change the tour to be the Dead Sea on the first day and give more time to Petra on the second day. I felt like we did not have enough time to explore Petra. The wadi rum room was great, service awesome. However, it felt a bit lonely and lacking of activities at night.

Overall, I’m happy with this tour, but it’s not for everyone. This tour is fast-paced but an efficient way to see Jordan's major attractions. It's more expensive than booking a driver and accommodations on your own (which usually include a jeep tour and food in Wadi Rum), but you save a lot of time by having the tour operator handle all the bookings. This saves you from the hassle, even if it costs a few hundred dollars more than booking everything yourself. While you can get great photos of all the main attractions and Instagram spots, there’s not enough time to fully enjoy each location. If you don’t leave early on the first day, you’ll miss important parts of Petra, like the Monastery. Even if you leaves early, you probably won’t have enough time to see Monastery unless hire a donkey: for the round trip, it costs about 70 JOD per person. Petra is too big and this tour is too short. This tour is ideal if you want to see the highlights quickly and are willing to pay extra for a professional service to save time. However, it’s not the best option for those on a budget or who prefer to spend more time exploring. Other Tips: Cash: Bring enough cash with you. ATM fees in Jordan are high and there is a big mark up. Credit card surcharges are also steep in Jordan. Dead Sea Day Pass: Check with hotel beforehand for any special discounts on day passes, especially if you’re a loyalty member with brands like Accor, Marriott, Hilton, or IHG. You might even save money booking a room for a night (and get access to free meals in the executive lounge if you are an elite member) instead of buying a day pass. If you want to save time, you can ask the tour operator to arrange this for you. It won’t be the cheapest, but it’s more convenient. Overall, I’m happy with the driver and tour, but I deducted one star because I think the tour agency could be more proactive. In my experience with other multi-day tours, the operators usually reach out to me on WhatsApp to provide important information and confirm any special requests. In this case, I had to contact them for details instead.
