This tour company (Aria Travel Albania) is ranked #1 in TripAdvisor and those reviews were real. I travelled to 78 countries and this tour company is one of the best. We did 2 tours with this company while I was in Albania. First was the private 2 days tour of North Macedonia (Ohrid then overnight in Skopje) and Kosovo (Pristina and Prizren) with Erges. Everything was great, we saw lots of things in North Macedonia and Kosovo. Erges gave enough free time for us to walk around ourselves and enjoy the city. He never took same way to go and come back when we were in one place, to make sure that we saw different parts. After we left North Macedonia, our car broke down in the middle of highway, but he managed to arrange new car in one hour or even less and we continued our tour in Kosovo without problems. Although tour was a bit delayed because of the incident (which is understandable), but everything was very smooth afterwards. We went to Prishtina then Prizren, and he even still gave us 1 hour free time for ourselves in Prizren before we head back to Tirana. In a way we were lucky to get some delayed because we got to see sunset in Prizren. If our car was not broken we won’t see that beautiful sunset view. We wanted to do tour with this company again the next day, but unfortunately we booked tour with different company and it was too late to cancel. We had a horrible experience with another company tour, and regretted that we didn’t ask availability to Erges earlier. After an unpleasant experience with the other tour company, I asked him again if they have tour the next day and we booked tour to Berat and Apollonia. The tour was a group tour with different guide, Endri. We went with Mercedez mini van which was very comfortable. Endri navigated us to walk and explain a lot of things in Berat castle. On the way to Apollonia, we passed by his hometown Fier, and he took us to ice cream shop that he used to go when he was a kid and bought us ice cream. It was very nice of him, and nice experience for us to be in that small town to experience his favourite dessert when he was a kid. Both were such a good and skilled driver (they drive and guide at the same time), knows a lot and very passionate about their country, very clear with instructions (like what time to meet and where, how much time we have etc), as well as good at problem solving and handle it quickly. The tour can also be customised according to what you want, please just go ahead book directly with them. Overall, I really recommended this tour company.

Elio was a very interesting, knowledgeable, attentive guide and a careful driver. The car and hotel were both very comfortable. The countryside was beautiful, especially Lake Ohrid on a sunny, warm spring afternoon.

The very best part of my trip was my driver and tour guide Gjenc. He was fantastic in every way. I was very impressed with his knowledge level, his driving and his professionalism. He was also a very nice person who was extremely fun to talk to on the trip and helped to make it a very special experience. Both countries we visited were wonderful and well worth visiting. All our stops were enjoyable and memorable. I would strongly recommend this trip to everyone. It was a great experience and a fantastic two days.

Excellent tour, our guide Gleni was very knowledgeable about all history from Illaryan times, through Greco-Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman till the terrible recent events. He told us about local cultures and religions. We spent the night in a lovely hotel in Skopje, in old town. A wonderful 2 day tour which will last in memory

I took the 2-day tour with Jetmir as guide and had a great time. It is quite short but definitely worth it and enough to see the key points. I particularly enjoyed Ohrid and Prizren. Not everyone spoke the same language in our group and Jetmir managed to run the visits in 2 languages.

I had the best time in Albania because of this tour. The staff are flexible and responsive; the car is comfortable; and the tour guide shared lots of historical facts that helped broaden my knowledge about the country. Value for money 10/10. Will surely recommend this tour to my friends and family. 🙂
