Prepare for the adventure of a lifetime when choosing this two-day tour of Iceland’s South Coast.

The first day’s stops include Seljalandsfoss, Gljufrabui waterfall, Skogafoss waterfall, and Reynisfjara black sand beach-ending in a Glacier Hike on Solheimajokull.

Your hotel will be somewhere between the towns of Vik and Hofn, and you will have plenty of time to explore the area!

The second-day stops include: Jokulsarlon, Diamond Beach, Amphibian Boat Tour, Eldhraun Lava Fields, The Bridge of the Volcanoes, and Fjadrargljufur River Canyon to complete our view of Icelandic nature.

If time permits, we will explore more of Vik on our return drive home.

The minimum age for participants is eight years. Be sure to pack warm clothing and comfortable shoes to enjoy every aspect of this experience. Dinner is late for some advise bringing snacks to prevent hungry spells.

Please note that July and August are very busy on the South Coast, and this tour fills up quickly.

Day 1: South Coast and Glacier Hike

Seljalandsfoss waterfall

Visit one of the most well known waterfalls

Skogafoss

We visit another waterfall that is equally impressive. Lots of rainbows are formed here. You can also hike to the top (527 steps) for a different viewpoint.

Gljufrabui Waterfalls

We will visit this hidden waterfall inside a mini cave. Be prepared to get wet!

Solheimajokull Glacier

We take a Glacier Hike onto this Glacier. All safety equipment is provided

Reynisfjara Beach

We visit the famous Black Sand Beach. Beautiful basalt cliffs. Be careful to not get close to the water- it can trap you with its strength and hidden drops in the sand.

Day 2: Glacier Lagoon and Boat Tour

Diamond Beach

We visit one part of Jokulsarlon where the chunks of glacier ice wash up on a beach. When the sun hits the ice, it shines like a diamond.

Visit the famous Glacier Lagoon, where you can take in amazing glacier views. Here we will spend extra time where we take a amphibian boat tour into the lagoon to get closer views.

We visit a volcanic lava field. Get close views of old volcanic lava and feel close to nature.

Skaftafell National Park

Fjadrargljufur Canyon
