Come and join us on an unforgettable adventure on a 2 days, 1 night trip and experience the beach, a safari and Maputo Special Reserve Camping. The Reserve is located on Maputo Bay 100 kilometers from Maputo and it is a conservation area and its 1040 km2 big (only 173 Km2 smaller than New York City – water and land area), the reserve combines lakes, wetlands, swamp forests, grasslands, mangrove forests with a pristine coastline
We have 2 main beach spots to camp at Maputo Special Reserve: Dobela and Membene.
Driving around the reserve towards our campsite, you will find the vast open areas where elephants and other plain games refresh themselves; you will drive pass different fresh water lagoons with a lot of great variety of birds, hippos, and crocodiles.

4.00Our package included two days and one night in the chalet. It was a great experience! Our Guide, Callisto, picked us up in Maputo, arrival at the reserve and start of safari, many animals spotted: elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, impala, hippos and more, in the afternoon we were accompanied to our chalet, beautiful, well-kept and relaxing, pleasant dinner at the restaurant. The day after breakfast very good and plentiful and departure for second day safari, always pleasant but, duration less than expected, return to Maputo. Thanks to our Callisto Guide, patient and helpful.
