What To Expect
Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
Aguas Calientes
7.00am: Accommodation pick-up from Cusco & transfer to train station. Scenic drive through the Sacred Valley to the train station. Train ride to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes) – the gateway to Machu Picchu. Comfortable 2-hour train ride with views of valleys, rivers, and Inca terraces. Upon arrival, our team will meet you at the train station and escort you to your comfortable hotel. Free time to explore the town’s cafes, markets, and hot springs or visit the Machu Picchu Museum and Botanical Garden.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Machu Picchu
Wake up early to beat the crowds and experience Machu Picchu in all its splendour! Choose to hike up (1.5–2 hours) or take the optional 30-minute bus ride (additional cost). Guided tour of Machu Picchu with an expert guide. Explore key temples, terraces, and viewpoints for those iconic mountain panoramas. Free time after the tour to take stunning photos, or just soak in the mystical energy. Walk back (or take the bus) to Aguas Calientes Free time for lunch or last-minute souvenir shopping. 2:55 PM: Train back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo – please be at the train station 30 minutes before departure. 4:30 PM: Arrival in Ollantaytambo and private mini-van transfer to Cusco Arrival back to Cusco: Approx. 8: 30 PM (may vary depending on train schedule and traffic conditions) Drop-off in the Cusco Historic Center (Plaza Regocijo area) located one block from the Main Square. Please note that evening vehicle access in Cusco can be challenging due to traffic patterns

5.00Photos can’t justify the magnificence of Machu Picchu! Roy our guide was extremely informative, made the tour very fun and not to mention an excellent photographer! We understood much more about Inca culture and history. It was a long day but definitely worth it.

5.00Our Machu Picchu experience was unforgettable, thanks to an outstanding tour and our incredible guide, Miguel Angel! The itinerary was well-organized, easy to follow, and executed exactly as promised, despite the high volume of daily visitors. Communication before the trip was prompt and clear, addressing all our questions. The highlight was undoubtedly Miguel Angel. His friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable approach brought the site’s history and culture to life. He was patient, never rushing us, and always encouraged questions and photo stops. Plus, he took fantastic photos and shared great spots for capturing memories. He even accompanied us down the mountain, guided us to the train station, and followed up to ensure we boarded safely. We highly recommend this tour—request Miguel Angel if you can!

5.00Wonderful work from the agency, we did a personalized tour for 7 people, we were picked up at the airport in Cusco and we no longer need to worry about anything - all staff is super attentive, the guide Miguel Angel in Machu Picchu was fantastic. If you have large travel bags, make sure they can be left at the hotel as on the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes only small (board) bags or backpacks are accepted.
