This 2 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda takes you to Volcanoes National Park well known for Gorilla trekking in Rwanda. Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas. Your safari begins from Kigali urban settings in to the village setting of Musanze, this park is a habitat to variety of primate species that you may encounter during your trekking. You will also be to encounter a number of bird species and other wildlife.

What To Expect
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time + 2hours
Volcanoes National Park
You will be picked by our guide or company representative, from your hotel accommodation in Kigali or airport in case you arrive with morning flight and head for a city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial ground where over 25000 bodies of victims of genocide were given a descent burial and later have lunch in a local restaurant before being transferred to Musanze – Volcanoes National Park for 1 hour culture tour where and overnight stay at the hotel.
Gorilla Trek – Kigali. Travel time + 2 hours
Volcanoes National Park
Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing Mountain Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants. The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find our way back to Kigali and dropped at your hotel or at the Kigali airport to catch up with your evening flight

5.00My experience with Universal Ventures was excellent! The owner Emmanuel was very accommodating with revisions to my booking. Our driver/guide Christian was outstanding: friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Our flight to Kigali was significantly delayed, but Christian was happy to safely drive us to our hotel near Volcanoes National Park late into the evening in inclement weather. Highly recommended!
