2 Days Nyungwe National Park Trip is one of our most magical and most liked safaris. It begins in Kigali and travels south-west, passing through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape, before arriving at the park and seeing Kamegeri Rock in Ruhango District, King's Palace in Nyanza District, an ethnographic museum in Huye District, and a tea plantation at the entrance of the forest. It gives a great encounter with chimpanzee trekking and a canopy walkway in the land of a thousand hills as you sum up your safari with us. On our way back to Kigali, we might visit the King's Palace Museum if time allows.

Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda

Early in the morning, your driver guide will be at your hotel to pick you up to start your transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will drive southwards for about 5 hours with an enroute lunch in Huye. You will arrive in Nyungwe in the afternoon and connect straight to the park to take on the canopy walk on the 2 meters long, 9 meters high suspended bridge, giving you an aerial view of the park. After that, connect you to your hotel to check in and be in time for dinner and another night in Nyungwe Forest.

Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda

By 5 a.m., we will be setting out to the starting point of the chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park. You will be briefed by the guides and set out into the forest. You will be able to see the chimpanzees swinging from one tree to another, and their sound will be heard from the moment you enter the forest up until you exit. Drive back to your hotel for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch, you will drive back to Kigali.
