Ancient City of Ephesus
04:00 Pick you up from hotel in Istanbul and transfer to airport. 07:00 Flight to Izmir. 08:05 Arrival to Izmir, meet with driver and drive to Ephesus/Selcuk. 09:00 Arrival to Ephesus. Full day Ephesus Tour starts. In Ephesus we will see Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, The Fountain of Trajan and The Theater.
Ephesus Terrace Houses
These are exclusive residences situated on the slopes opposite the Temple of Hadrian along Curetes Street. Commonly known as the “rich houses,” they were uncovered during recent excavations. The houses near Curetes Street feature colonnaded porticoes, while step streets connected directly to the house entrances. We will stop at Terrace Houses and explore the Houses of Rich Ephesians.
The Temple of Artemis
Temple of Artemis, also known as the Temple of Diana. Only one or two pieces of marble remain from the temple, which is considered one of the seven wonders of the world.
Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
The House of Virgin Mary is a Catholic and Muslim shrine located in Bülbüldağı, located in the vicinity of Ephesus. This sacred place was awarded to the visit of various popes and the Patriarchate Blessing. After the tour you will be taken to your hotel (4 stars) to spend the night in Kusadasi (Lunch included).
Travertines of Pamukkale, Hierapolis Ancient City
Arrival to Pamukkale after lunch. We will visit Hierapolis and see Necropolis, Roman Bahts, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium and Theater.
Hierapolis Arkeoloji Muzesi
The Archaeological Museum of Hierapolis can be found within the Ancient City of Hierapolis, encompassing structures like the Ancient Roman Bath, Gymnasium, and library. Our visit to the Hierapolis Museum is the perfect finale to our journey through the history of this ancient city.
Cleopatra Pools
Above Pamukkale's white travertine pools, the Antique Pool awaits. Fed by the same thermal springs, it's where Cleopatra once bathed. This modern spa facility allows you to enjoy these historical healing waters. The Antique Pool is a Roman ruin today, but no less impressive. Immerse yourself, navigate around fallen columns and Roman artifacts, and relish the therapeutic waters. Pose for photos while balancing on submerged temple stones.
Pamukkale Thermal Pools
Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famed for its striking white calcium cascades and hot springs, making it one of Turkey's top Instagram-worthy destinations. The name 'Pamukkale' translates to 'cotton castle' in Turkish. These healing hot springs once served as a pagan cult center in ancient times. The terraces, shaped by mineral-rich running water, continue to evolve over thousands of years. Today, Pamukkale's pristine beauty remains well-preserved. Immerse yourself in the soothing hot springs, unwind, and capture stunning photos of this natural wonder. Transfer to Denizli Cardak Airport after the tour to take the flight to Istanbul in the evening. Arrival to Istanbul transfer to hotel. (Flight duration 1 hour)

The explanations very clear showing great knowledge and we value very much that in several places we give us time without rushing to travel at our leisure I recommend it a hundred percent!!

5.00Gufte was such a great tour guide for our time in Kusadasi!! Our first day we did a tour through Ephesus where she did such a great job explaining everything we were looking at and helping us to imagine what life was like in ancient Ephesus. She also took us to a local carpet weaving facility with a fantastic lunch and we ended the day with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary. The second day we drove to Pamukkale to visit the ancient city of Heropolis. I learned a lot there and love having time to explore the natural pools. Gufte took us to a couple of other local places for souvenirs. I feel like I got a great balance of history and local culture experience with Gufte. She made a lot of suggestions of places to eat and things to do for the days we were not together. Gufte was very knowledgeable, flexible, and fun to be with for the two days we were together. I'm very thankful we had her as our tour guide and would highly recommend her to anyone.

5.00Güfte was our guide when we were staying in the Kuşadasi area. She was so kind and made sure we did everything we were wanting to do and more! Her experience and knowledge of Turkey is evident on the tours from the moment she meets you to the time to say goodbye. She was very patient and gave us options to customize our daily schedule. She made sure to accommodate us in any way which made our trip much more relaxed. She is very personable and professional! 5.00Güfte was our tour guide for two days while in Kusadasi. She was so great in many ways. She spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the entire region. She made sure what we envisioned for those two days was the best. We visited several sights including Ephesus, Pammukale, Sirince and Heiropolis to name a few. She always gave us a couple options for seeing the sights and allowed us to choose what we wanted and that made me feel like we truly experienced what we wanted to the most. I highly recommend her for a private tour or whether you are in a group.

5.00WE loved our time with Güfte our wonderful travel guide. She was so knowledgeable about the sites visited and nothing was too much trouble. She really made two extremely hot days very manageable that we almost forgot how hot it was. Together with our driver Salih they both made our two day’s fun and so enjoyable. 5.00An amazing two days in Ephesus and Pamukkale. Our guide was Mrs. Gufte. Gufte and our driver were both very experienced. We enjoyed lunch with them after our visit to Hieropolis. Mrs. Ayfer who organized the trip was extremely helpful throughout the process, from booking until the end of the trip. She checked on us every step of the way. We highly recommend Puerto Travel Turkey.
