Early Morning pick up 4:30 am from your Hotel in Kigali and drive to Volcanoes National Park for Golden Monkey Trekking. After 2 hours and a half driving, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park warden along with your trekking gear, drinking water and packed lunch. Later proceed to the forest to trekk the Golden Monkey, an activity that will take you 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the apes in their natural wild. After meeting and staying in the presence of the golden Monkey for a maximum of an hour, the guide will transfer you back to Kigali Overnight stay at your Hotel and get ready to the next scheduled day trip Akagera Wildlife Safari .

4.00We did the hiking of Bisoke, Golden monkey and 2 day trekking in Akagera with boat tour and night safari! Serge was e really good guide and eveyrhting was planned accordingly! The hike was great, the safari was splendid and did see a lot on the 2 days, what is exceptional! The only downside was the golden monkeys, it was a 25min walk, 1 hour stop and back. No really explanations or visiting the nature, so that was a bit less. But this was nothing Serge (our guide) could do about it! For the rest, great trip!! Thank you!
