Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
Morning, driver and guide will pick up you from accommodation in Ulaanbaatar and drive to Terelj national park. In Terelj we will hike through turtle rock and hike to meditation temple. Where you can see the beautiful natural scenery of the park. Stay in mini-camp. Free time to explore the natural park with lots of nomadic families.
Elsen Tasarkhai
This semi Gobi is 80 km long sand dunes through Hangai mountains. Bit rocky mountain and sand dunes stays simultaneously and also lake over there. Nomadic families have camel, horse, yak and sheep. You can ride a camel, climb up sand dunes and hiking through a lake.
We will drive through mountains and Uyanga sub-district. This district's residents are mostly gold mining workers and herders from nearby places. You can visit and see a school here. We will arrive afternoon in the base camp of 8 lakes.
Morning, pack our luggage to a horse and mount on a horse. Mongolian herds of horse roam the plains by horse from their very young age under 5. Riding horse rests so deep within its culture. Your horse trip will continue with a reliable local horse guide and English guide. If you are riding a horse very first time, don’t be afraid. The local guide instructs you well and cares you. We will ride in fascinating wild nature; larch forest, wildflowers and fresh lakes. A trip on horseback makes you completely cut off from the city and daily routine. Leading horse is going to be a new challenge and adventure. As horses are friendly animals they become your good trip companion. Today we will ride around 15 km. Have lunch outside. And stay in nomadic family’s ger. We will visit traditional local family with horses, yak and sheep, goats. Try Mongolian traditional food.
The next adventurous and wilderness of nature explore day. We will visit other lakes, ride through volcanic mountains. We will cross rivers on the way you will see wildflowers, meadow tiny valleys. Horse riding toward the other side of the mountain and visit another nomadic family with small children.
Orkhon Waterfall
Our car will pick up us from the nomadic family and drive to Tsutgalan volcanic waterfall. We will drive through Tsetserleg town. Where we will visit an ethnic museum. Relax in the Tsenher hot spring. Camp stay.
Farther we will drive to Kharhorin village to see Erdene zuu Buddhist monastery and history museum. In this village, you can see outside open black market.
Ulaanbaatar
Morning, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, we will see rock painting. And have lunch in a restaurant. We will arrive in Ulaanbaatar around 15-16 PM. Transfer you to your accommodation. Road length 280 km
