King's Palace

At 7AM am, you will be picked up by your driver guide and driven to Nyungwe National Park with a stopover in Nyanza for a visit to the King's Palace that shall immerse you in vibrant Rwandan culture. At 2 PM, we will be at Nyungwe National Park for the Canopy Walkway

-At 4h30 AM, Tour Start driver will be at the hotel then heading to the starting point for chimpanze trekking, - At 12h00 After a lunch break on the way back kigali , you will proceed to the park for the canopy walk. The amazing canopy walk takes you across a hanging platform that crosses over the tall and majestic trees of Nyungwe. The hanging platform is built 50 meters above the ground and is 200 meters long. You will have an aerial view of the forest, enabling you to spot birds and more of the primates feeding on top of the trees or jumping from one tree to another.

Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda

After early breakfast, transfer to the reception center by 5:00 Am where we meet the ranger guides and from there drive to the point where you start the hike into Nyungwe/ Cyamudongo forest. During chimpanzee tracking, expect to spot 12 smaller species of primate, including Hamlyn’s Monkeys, owl-faced monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkeys, Angola Colobus, Silver monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red-tailed Monkeys, grey-cheeked Mangabeys, vervet monkeys, and l’hoest’s monkeys. Nyungwe forest is every birder’s dream destination with a medley of colorful bird species like the Rwenzori Turaco, and forest hornbills among others. Throughout the activity, the park guides will share information about each of the species encountered – their behavior, feeding, and reproductive habits. After spotting the chimps, you will go for lunch at the hotel and drive back to Kigali. thereafter drive back to Kigali.
