We had a great trip to the sahara with our driver Rafiq who was very professional and attentive. It was a wonderful experience not only seeing the designated stops but also the drive through the country to see the landscape changing and observing the many small villages and ways of live along the road. At the desert camp we had a wonderful evening with music, a horseshow and really nice food. The tent was comfortable and the staff at the camp friendly. Travellers need to know that only the drive is included in the price. All expenses to the camp, activities such as camelride, entrances to places of interest such as El Jem comes at additional costs. The description of the activity does stipulate that only the drive is included, but in the overview of the initiary activities are listet as "free entrance" so you could easily think all was payed for once you book the trip, so be sure to budget with extra expenses. Other than that our trip was great, and we would happily book another time!
