What To Expect

Day 1

Pokhara - Nayapul - Tikhedhunga (1,570 meters) - Ulleri(2000 meters) - Ghorepani (2,840 meters)

Ghorepani

You will begin the journey through one of the most scenic drives from Pokhara to Nayapul which is basically a highway with views of mountains, rivers, and green fields and forests. From Nayapul, you'll be continuing your drive along the Modi Khola River, passing through small villages and beautiful rhododendron forests. You will reach Tikhedhunga and be driven to Ulleri and then only you'll be trekking up to the village of Ghorepani for five hours passing through rhododendron forests. You'll be enjoying the scenery around you and spending your overnight stay in a tea house at Ghorepani.

Day 2

Ghorepani - Ulleri(2000m) - Hile(1500m) - Nayapul - Pokhara

Poon Hill

The second day will be exciting and thrilling, as we'll climb up to Poon Hill and witness the beauty of Dhawalagiri Mountain and the whole Annapurna range. You will experience the sunrise over the Himalayas. And descend the same route to Ulleri, steep descent. Again after having some rest, you'll continue your trek till Hile which is near Tikhedhunga through the jungle and forests with sceneries of the Modi River. From there, you'll continue your journey and reach NayaPul on Jeep. And finally, from Nayapul, you'll be driven back to the hotel at Lakeside, Pokhara through the beautiful highway where the trek will end.

It was rainy season, so there were few people and I could see the greenery and mountains leisurely. I couldn't see the sunrise, but the mountains of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna showed their faces from time to time, which was wonderful. I want to visit again.

We start poon hill trek on 3 February enjoy a lot along the way guide was funny, kind and excellent 👌 view was awesome from the poon hill. Mr. Biru explain culture, nature and mountain. Recommend to all.

The mountain views and sunrise on Poon Hill were absolutely breathtaking Our tour guide, Amrit, were incredibly supportive and attentive, ensuring that me and my husband was comfortable and safe at all times. From offering encouragement during challenging sections of the trek to providing thoughtful advice on the best spots to take in the scenery, our guide went above and beyond. They were not only knowledgeable about the terrain and local flora and fauna, but also genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. Overall, this trek was a perfect balance of adventure and serenity, with an exceptional guide who made the whole experience seamless.
