The captain got the boat close enough to the waterfall for me to to get drenched by glacier melt. Was an awesome experience Tip: Get to the bow of the boat to enjoy this experience and carry good rain cloths. Also Customer service was accessible via phone. Accomodated my change in schedule with no complications. Tips: We rescheduled to a day with better weather…

Being on the small boat and having the excellent verbal guidance of the captain was a fantastic way to tour Milford sound. I saw the large boat not coming in close to the waterfalls and turning around before going into some bays and I was very glad we had chosen smaller boats through this company.

Brilliant cruise, expertly organised and hosted. We experienced more than we’d ever hoped for, thank you! Amazing views, immersive waterfalls and even seals & bottle nose dolphins too!

2 hour cruise. The boat circumnavigates the sound, stopping at various spots along the way. Everyone seems to do the same route. This company was nice as it had smaller boats so less of a crowd

Milford Sound is a not-to-be-missed wonder of the world. Highly recommend Mitre Peak cruises for their smaller, nimble boats that really get you up close and personal with the waterfalls and without feeling too crowded. The crew is friendly and knowledgeable.

Smaller boat, way more personal. Crew were happy and helpful. Got to see a lot more as there weren't a heap of people in front of me.

A fantastic memory for our anniversary trip to New Zealand. We were both impressed by the maximum capacity of the bookings, which allowed plenty of room for all customers to freely walk around to every location on boat whenever desired for optimal, comfort and viewing. The commentary provided by the crew was also very informative and appreciated.
