Enjoy a two hour cruise traversing the deep waters of Milford Sound, located in Fiordland. Your cruise will take you past St Anne’s lighthouse and out into the Tasman Sea. Informative guides point out scenic highlights along the way, such as the Bowen Falls (dropping 160 metres seaward), Sinbad Gully (a classic example of a hanging valley), snow-capped Mount Pembroke, and the awe-inspiring Mitre Peak itself, towering 1692 metres from the ocean floor.

Had a great experience. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The boat is well kept and had a good amount of space, so the cruise takes on just the right amount of passengers - it’s not over crowded when on the outside deck taking in the spectacular views and aspects of Milford Sound. The cruise stops along the way to see fur seals, the waterfalls and galciers, then heads out to sea. An awesome view when the boat turns around and heads back into the Sound. A fantastic way to see a truly natural beauty of New Zealand and this cruise certainly enhances the journey.

Friendly staff and very clean and spacious boat. So glad we went with mitre peak cruises as boat wasn’t crowded so everyone had plenty of room to move around and take in the sights. It was raining lightly but that makes tge waterfalls flow too which was a highlight. We caught a fur seal sunburning on rocks and some penguins enjoying the wet weather. Good commentary from the captain, complementary tea and coffee was welcome. Highly recommend this tour

Mitre Peak provided a spectacular and memorable cruise of Milford Sound which was loved by the whole family. Friendly crew and skipper took us up close to waterfalls, sea lions and penguins

Our tour guide Maddie was BRILLIANT! Maddie was knowledgeable, professional and catered to our needs. The tour provided a nice mix of photo stops and walks to break up the journey. The scenery was spectacular and the timings of the trip ran like clockwork. I would highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful waterfall and scenery. We didn’t see as much wildlife as we had hoped, but did see a penguin and seal. We would highly recommend this tour.

It's a bucket list thing. So glad we went and certainly didn't disappoint. Overcast conditions but that is to be expected. Photos will never do Milford Sound justice. We travelled in our hire car and the drive there was just as good as the cruise, the scenery is majestic to say the least and the drive was far easier than many reviews that I had read suggested. Light rain as we entered the climb and decent but nothing an average driver should be concerted about.
First cruise of the morning, We should have done this years ago!
