At around midday, while most of Victoria Falls is resting, head out for a Lunch Cruise on the perfectly quiet Zambezi River. Sit back and allow our experienced chefs to prepare a three-course meal on board, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. A selection of Pure Africa wines and drinks are served as an accompaniment. Look out for elephants, and if you’re lucky get up close to the resident hippos while enjoying your meal. It’s an ideal time to be lulled by the water and exult in the fish eagle’s call. You’ll be forgiven for thinking you have the place to yourself – as it’ll feel that way.

Victoria Falls
As you cruise on the upper Zambezi River, you will also see the mist rising up from the magical Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. The Zambezi's most noted feature is Victoria Falls.
This park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the park. If you are lucky you might come across animals such as hippos, elephant, crocodiles, kudus as you cruise on the Zambezi River.

Great and unique experience. Unexpected too, as, when doing the reservation, I aven't understood it was, in fact, a private cruise. 2 options for starters and 2 for main meals, good choice of wines and drinks.

The boat is excellent, very big and clean. There are however things that I wish they improve. Firstly the snacks need improvement. There’s need for variety, in this Covid they must give a dedicated platter to each table rather than take the same plate round all tables. There was no one to announce how we were going to travel in the Zambezi. No guide. The only time the lady spoke was when we departed and when we arrived back. In between there was no explanation of anything.
