The tour operator was very knowledgeable and pointed out local plants and animals that we would have missed. The hotel was really cool and the view was amazing!

Oscar is very knowledgeable and Brent was extremely pleasant to work with. This was a great hike. I was able to see some wildlife like white face monkeys, butterflies, birds and frogs. Most impressive is Oscar’s and Brent’s passion for the preservation of this beautiful location.

Oscar was a great Guide! He's got a long and intimate relationship with the mountain and the El Miro site. He regaled us with fascinating stories that gave context to every turn of the winding path to the top. We made it to the summit in time to see a fantastic sunset and got stunning views of the ocean and of Jaco at night. I'd definitely recommend Brent's company and this tour in particular.

The best memories were from our guide Oscar who provided a lot of information about the area, plants and trees, and of course wildlife. Oscar was extremely helpful and very likeable. We would definitely recommend this hike to others. The Hike up the mountain was easily managed by a couple of 70+ yr olds. The views from the top were definitely worth it.

I operate an adventure service myself in the USA so I’m hard to please when it comes to finding a good guide. Brent was better than good. He is very knowledgeable & passionate as well as polite and easy going. He showed me places I’d never find if he didnt show me. He took me on some incredible hikes. He also pointed out several monkeys & toucans along a hike I’ve done many times alone and never saw them. He knows exactly what to look for. Brent has contacts throughout CR. He cooked up an amazing meal for us at a hostel in the mountains of Cartago , as we visited waterfalls, the oldest church in CR , the highest volcano,& locals. I’ve introduced & referred several people to Brent & they all loved him & their experience.

A beautiful discovery. El Miro is a beautiful place where I had the chance to see a beautiful sunset. The ascent is done quietly and with the explanations of a guide who knows plants, trees, animals by heart and who loves his country! It was very interesting to learn all these things. The guides are very kind and caring. Brent the guide and creator of Cloudseeker is very professional, listens to requests and has a great knowledge of the country. In addition, he picked me up and brought me back to the entrance of my hotel which is very convenient. It was a great time that I recommend to everyone !

Began with an on time pickup at my hotel by my personable guide and a safe drive to the starting point. After enjoying fresh refreshing cold coconut milk in the shell we began the guided leisurely hike up to El Mirador with the friendly informative guide, a zoologist and naturalist, discussing indigenous plants, birds, and insects. The views of Jaco beach and Pacific ocean at the top were absolutely astonishing, and watching the amazing sunset was the highlight. El Mirador was such an interesting place with the best views in Jaco, particularly at sunset. We were given ample time to enjoy the views and sunset at the top before descending to the starting point. It was a well organized, safe, informative, and exillerating experience that I look forward to doing again. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to everyone of all ages visiting Jaco, Costa Rica. It's a must see. You won't be disappointed.
